Reason Refill Unpacker, Finally...
I knew someday, somebody would figure this out. I no longer use Reason as I've long since moved on to Cubase, but I still held on to all my refills in the hopes that someday, someone would figure it out and create a refill unpacker. That day has finally arrived. This tool lets you open any refill and extract its contents. This tool is NOT a commercial product. Rather its a simple tool that some kind soul took the time to finally figure out. Major props to the author.
Please note: You must have Reason 3.0 or better installed. Put this tool in your Reason install folder. Directions are also included in the zip. Enjoy!
Reason Refill Unpacker
wow
that could be the end of all commercial refills
I waited this sucker like 3 years!! Finally!

Thx
at last...i will sort my refills..in the way i like ... one refil for each instrument...... thanks dude.....
been waiting 10 months for one of these
, those who wait GET LOL
sweeet dude!
finally i can get rid of reason...
Huge thanks!
Since I never worked with Reason, I've always asked myself what exactly is inside a refill. Are those synths presets, wav samples, or both?
indeed a combination of stuff, all kinds of presets and wav files
this guy who figured it out can make a fortune with his program if he wants to
finally!
thanks!
shit....now I have a reason to upgrade to version 3 from 2.5
Will this work on Apple computers as well?

I can't get it to work for some reason,
I use an apple Powerbook
I originally installed Reason 3.0, now I'm running the upgrade Reason 3.0.4
This is what I do:
1. I unzip the file and a folder named "Refillunpacker" is created on my desktop.
2. I open the"Refillunpacker" folder and also open a second finder window.
3. I drag the .exe file into the Reason Folder (which is located in the Application section)
4. I look in the Reason folder (and the Okester and FSB refills are in still in there) and the .exe file is just sitting there. When I try to open it, it says that there's no default app to open it with.
thanks a lot!
i tryed to make an unpacker but my skills are limited
bye reason xD
How does the program work ?? I thought the refill format was a propeller head secret format.
