Heaven Review

Since I barely made it past 2:00 am last night I thought I would atleast start the review! please post so i can remember the evening

okay, had some lunch and half way human again so this is what i remember of the evening, got to heaven and saw phillipe and dan, hung with them in line and then we get in, very pleased with the set up of the club, very friendly. phillipe thank you so much for entrance into heaven and great t-shirt btw. right away we see bob behind the decks throwing it down, very good man, run right into michelle, kris, mike, carrie and the usual suspects start to show up, very cool TA turn out, got to see thrax and bjorn, julie and freshcoast, so cool. anyways totally loved dancing to bob's set and then gil gets up and throws down another great set, danced and danced until my feet were killing me bad shoes choice, anyways, can't id any songs but the music was great, the vibe was wonderful, i really liked that club, very chill people and the set up was great. bob and gil you were awsome, thanks for the music and dancing opportunity! very fun with all the tas just wish i hadn't drank so much, i had to leave or i think i would have passed out right there at the club. lol, oh and it is always great seeing oc michelle and riia, beautiful ladies and so much fun! have to nap now to rejuvenate for tonight, great night all round

So how were Rich and Andy of Solarstone?

Johan wasnt there huh?

How was the turn out? Arena is a pretty big place...did it fill up?

Would have gone if I felt better, hope to be at localized tonight though!

any videos around? i want to know what solarstone play?

it waas empty. very disappointed. only reason i went after that filo & peri fiasco is because i have loved solarstone since 1999. BUT i should have known that it would be the same thing and it was.
only one guy was there from SS again this time, so that was disappointing too, but honestly the vibe was not there at all and we just simply werent having fun, so we left early.
i really dont understand what club heaven is doing. at least 3 people came up to us and asked us when johan gielen was going on, dont know what was up with that.
population of cracked out asians was overwhelming again. kinda hard to meet new poeple and friends when there is no one at the club. this is def my last hurrah with heaven. and actually i think we may even refuse the charges on our credit card for the tickets since everytime lately we have gone top this club, it never delivers what it advertises. i mean definitely false advertising. anyway,nothing much else to report. bad night at heaven.
hopefully we can still salvage the weekend at Holden tonight...

are you talking abou ttheir destinations cd? if you are, yeah its pretty "chill" but normally they are straight up trance. just go to their site and check it oput and listen to all their trax from before 2002. thats where they really had the hits.

Great vibe at Heaven last night. So glad I was able to make it out.

Alana and I arrived at 10. We snuck in a little early to watch Bob and everyone set up. Bob starts in with some awesome tracks The Drill � The Drill, ZGR �Zero Hr, Locust � Aerospace, Ernesto vs Bastian � A Few Seconds after Transfer. During this time multiple TAs start strolling in to show their support. We all know who was there, so I am just going to say it was nice seeing so many TAs as always.


Then Gil comes on and starts killing us. He manages to throw in S.O.S, as well as the remix of Nyana. It seems like the TAs are owning the front as always. We are running wild up in there. Dancing on the stages and twirling each other around. Our energy is so high and we just keep feeding off one another. Buying each other drinks and laughing at one another, as we start dancing like fools cause we are so faded. Weeeeeeee this is always my favorite part of the night.

The crowd wasn�t packed in like sardines, yet it had full coverage all the way to the back, with small spaces in between. I think this actually made things much more relaxed and kept everyone in a good mood. Since the temperature didn�t reach 200 degrees with everyone�s body heat and there was no need for pushing and shoving. The security stayed pretty relaxed as well. They let us all run up on stage when ever we wanted too and didn�t bark at anyone.

Andy gets on stage, and by this time the majority of us are already past faded. I couldn�t even tell you what tracks he laid down, but he did a great job keeping everyone dancing wild. I believe Rich wasn�t able to show up cause his wife just delivered their baby, so he needed to stay behind. A big congrats.

A little after 2, we decide to slip out so we could save some energy for tonight. To end our great night out we stop at the hot dog stand and order two dogs fully loaded. Yummy.

and you guys are right, the night can be shitty and you still have fun if your with your friends but that doesnt make it cool to me that this club keeps throwing events that are low low quality and we are all expected to just keep showing up and paying and getting what? not much...

yeah, if i wanted to just have fun with my group of friends, thats cool, but i would do it at home for free instead of paying to do it.
