Tampa clubs are horrible
i don't understand why they can just make'em better. i think the best club here is Underground, and even they need work. maybe i shouldn't compare it to Miami clubs, i mean, miami has great nightlife so, IMO Miami has a better nightlife than California and gives New York competition.
Yup I know I know, nitelife in Tampa sucks ass plain and simple
I dunno, I kinda like the rotating dancefloor at the ampitheater. I know a ton of people hate it but w/e, it was fun
the underground is ok, the amphitheater is pretty sweet, just cause it dosnt play the best music does not mean it sucks, the castle isnt bad either, and club flirt has some pretty nice dnb there,

| Originally posted by Paulvandykism the amp, IMO, sucks because of that rotating floor, but the worst part is when i went to see hybrid, tiesto, and christopher lawrence there was this guy with the microphone who wouldn't shut up, he just kept interupting the set, and that just sucks. plus they don't have that good of a system. |
this subject is getting a little played out...being that we live in florida and are spoiled when it comes to nitelife, tampa's nitelife is far better than the majority of the country. ask some poor schmuck from omaha how they feel...although yes, the level of high caliber dj talent is lower than say a miami or nyc, there is still more bars and clubs in tampa per capita than anywhere. plus if your a guy there is a lot of skanks, so its easier for you to score, i love me some tampa skank!! but yeah tampa is what it is, not the greatest musik, but a cool place to go out and have fun and have a couple brews...

Tampa clubs like Banana Joes get drunken lesbian cheerleader action.
Phi on you for bad-mouthing Tampa clubs!
tampa resident for 22+ years and as neil put it... im now one of those schmucks who lives in Omaha,...(actually Manhattan, Kansas)... im happy its a college town that has bars with young people... if i find hip-hop then im set... my main goal of going out is to avoid country... anything else is a winner... and clubs... huh? kansas is still working on their bars... much less clubs...
+1 first post. if u like hip hop and rock, you're probably happy here. if u like EDM primarily and want that EDM experience, that doesnt happen often here. if it wasnt for my job, ide move.

Took the combined efforts of trancebrat and ClubGoddess and several others to shut that tool's mouth. Amp rocked when Santana and Suzy did a tag-team DJ session, followed Ferry fuckin' Corsten back in June. The club has its best times and moments, albeit not many of them, but the few that there are, rock. |

yyyyyep I agree with Neil about this whole subject getting old. Enough already, each city is different.

| Originally posted by ClubGoddess arent you still under 21? Most places are 21 and up for guys, which is probably why you dont go to other places. Plus since you still glowstick, Underground is the only place that allows that as far as I know. |

just for the record this is my review of kimball collins tonight at the AMP tonight 11-12-05, he fucking sucks, whats up with his attempt at some Prog, come on he built his name on trance and now he wants to jump the bandwagon without any skills in mixing house music or an ability of selecting tracks, he couldnt keep the crowd into it at all which is damn near impossible at the amphitheater
