Energy 52 - Cafe del Mar
Why do people consider this the greatest trance song ever made? I mean sure its good. I just dont see what the hype is all about..
It's good.
I think its a great song as well.. but not nearly the best.
i go crazy every time i hear it...
and mixed with greece 2000....omgidie
I dunno, since it's not a very good trance song.
I wouldn't call it the best per say, but I guess maybe you had to have lived it.

Endurance and legacy. It's been remixed over and over, but never gets tired. It's a "theme" that's lasted longer than any other in the genre. Whether from quality or simple hype, you decide. I think it's both, but head toward the former.

I was complaining about your loaded sentence, which was obviously meant to provoke those with a sloppy definition of "trance". That's not educating, it's just poor entertainment. |
I didn't say you must voice it more often. That implies a teacher. I simply said I wish you'd voice it more often. You don't have to.
Instead you're just making lazy potshots.

It's a nice tune for sure.
Most people have heard it at many many special occations on various events, venues, countries etc and it's special to most people, when it gets played it brings back memories of former times and parties
.
Same goes for ex. For An Angel.
I like it, it's not _the_ tranceomfgtuneoftheworld but it's among the tops ever made.
i love it though when i compare it too other "great" trance classics i do think this would have to be close, for personal choice id also say oxygene 8 or for an angel, though they never got as big.
It's a classic tune, quite "simple" but really OMG...
