Lost: Season 2 Episode 7

Holy shit, what an intense opening scene. Children implaed, people with broken necks flopping around in the water; way more graphic than I expected from a network television show. Im guessing CBS will be getting some angry letters from parents who let their kids watch this show.

This should be a top notch episode

Lost is on ABC

I, for one, am appalled and will be writing my congressman.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

"Would you like some chicken?"

Ok not funny my bad.

Posted by tribu on Nov-17-2005 02:22:

haha yeha, i totally missed the ABC logo in the bottom right corner.

That black dude fucked up the Others

Posted by tribu on Nov-17-2005 03:06:

That ending was such a let down until the previews showed that Shannon is dead for sure.

Yay!

Hey wait a second, i thought this was supposed to be an extended episode. You're telling me all we had is this flashback mode with no real answers to any important questions? Is one of the others in Jack's camp? Is Kate carrying Hurley's baby? Did someone kill Walt yet? I'm tired of that little ******...i hope he goes next.

All in all, pretty top notch episode. I like how they built up the thing with Goodwin, and the crash scene wqas spectacular.

Invasion is gay...how long till this shit is off the air?

Posted by infinity HiGH on Nov-17-2005 04:07:

I didnt feel bad.

So black people are genetically altered to like chicken...big deal.

I'm polish...if someone asked me if I'd like some potatoes, that'd be funny too.

Awesome episode. Looking forward to next week to see what happens with Sayid. I bet he goes apeshit on Ana Lucia.

That was a wikkid episode. Explained a lot to me at least... I like how they showed the kids with the bear and it ties into when the others walked by a couple episodes ago with the kids with the bear. Finding out what they did with the ppl they took is one of the most intriguing storylines on a tv show that I've seen in a long time. Can't wait for next week's episode! I hope Sayid goes one-on-one with the huge black guy haha

Posted by tribu on Nov-17-2005 15:19:

Dude the huge black guy will fuck him up...c'mon now.

Some interesting crap is that now we've potentially linked the Dharma Institute to the U.S. Army, we've learned that The Others are human and killable, and that we should be on the lookout for a glass eye. Goodwin didn't appear to know about the second "hatch" though the place was infinitely more useless than Jack's camp's hatch. Is the radio still with the survivors? That's one thing they didn't touch on, though they're certainly carrying alot of (physical) baggage. They really humanized Ana Lucia, though the religious paralells between "wandering" between emotions for 40 days were kind of far fetched. Also, Sayid kinda looks like Jesus.

I'm not religious so I really hope they don't go down that road a la Matrix because I didn't know what the hell all that symbolism meant in those movies after the first one. That Dharma Initiative shit is creepy, I don't know why either.

Yeah, the black guy would beat him up good, but wasn't Sayid in the Iraqi army? Black guy V Saddam-trainee hehe

Posted by igottaknow on Nov-17-2005 17:37:

i have a hunch that the "others" are a pedophile cult, thats why they took the kids

Posted by Turbonium on Nov-17-2005 20:26:

I don't get it, what's so great about this show. I for one find it lame. Is anyone with me?

What's the appeal? What am I missing?
