A good 2006.

...

Honestly, that's it.

Between 514, GEM, ARIA, STEREO, GODSKITCHEN, I think we're set. It'd be nice to see an outdoor rave (ie: Global Gathering) during F1 weekend. Huge opportunity!

Global Gathering... ahhhhh dear God please! I smell massive party memories.

A nice Bal en Blanc. I'd love to see the Olympic Stadium used this year because I think the Palais de Congres is one big mess. Not enough bathrooms and the layout is fucked. I wanna see huge fucking towers like Black and Blue had. Imagine replacing the Bal en Blanc set-up with the Black and Blue setup, how fucking trip would that be?

Bal en Blanc bookings? I'm expecting something big. Sasha + Digweed, Armin Van Buuren, Sasha? Something that'll pack the place, but lets not forget about the class. Good music, not Celebration 2006 music (except for Lawler and Franco).

SWIRL please! +1

CREAM! Jesus fucking christ. 514, please don't take chances on the hip-hop room this year. STAY AWAY!

Celebration 2007.

ARIA... aria, aria, aria... Sven, Markus Shultz, Mauro Picotto, Ferry, Dan! I have nothing to complain about here.

Well... just cuz you're asking... okay... Carl Cox, Steve Lawler (RESPECT YOUR CONTRACT BIATCH), Armin Van Buuren, Dave Seaman, Preach, Richie Hawtin, James Zabiela, Sasha, Chris Liebing, Christopher Lawrence, Max Graham.

Errrr... yeah.... that's it. Allow me to apologize in advance if this post is incoherent or lacking, I'm somewhat intoxicated.

I really agree whit you on this point...more variation in music style will be something good for the musical education of clubbers!!

Pretty much agree with everything here.

Must emphasize that if a proper Global Gathering happened this year it will overshadow any other big event and would totally be fucking amazing if it happened. What an experience it would be WOAH!!

BeB, Swirl, Celebration, Cream; all these should have BIG names that will PACK the places..Diggers and Sasha always pop in as number one choices for something like that....I would love to see Hernan Cattaneo in one of these big events.

As for the Afterhours, things are going great and it looks like it will be a fantastic year. I have to emphasize two names: Sven Vath and Sandra Collins.

More of James Holden, ANYWHERE, is always appreciated.

When all's said and done though...

Keep up the good work!!

Aria:

DJ Hell, Erol Alkan, Pendulum, Rex the dog (I know this is pointless, but electro is welcome), sasha, Ferry, Timo maas, Preach.

Stereo:

Satoshi Tomiie (hopefully be better this time), the Sander, Porter (an answered prayer), Max Graham, Chris Fortier.

BeB:

<>
Matt Hardwick
Preach
Nick P
Ferry (Or Armin)

<>
Sander Kleinenberg
Satoshi Tomiie
Timo Maas
Erol Alkan

Swirl:

Repeat of last year, only better sound system.

Those are my booking suggestions to promoters, haha, all pretty unrealistic but I can dream.

Apart from that I think promoters do a decent job in Montreal, keep up the good work and dont listen to EVERYTHING us trance addicts have to say.

Posted by aria_clubber on Jan-09-2006 09:31:

Ok here's the list of DJs i'd really like to see this year:
SANDER KLEINENBERG, HERNAN CATTANEO, SASHA & DIGWEED (together if possible plzzzz), SANDRA COLLINS, SVEN VATH, JAMES HOLDEN, NICK WARREN, PAUL VAN DYK, ANGELLO & INGROSSO, CHUS & CEBALLOS, FERRY CORSTEN, ARMIN VAN BUUREN, CARL COX,GABRIEL & DRESDEN, PREACH, MARCO V...

pretty long list but if ANY of those djs are comming i'm the first on the roll call !!!!

and for bal en blanc well i'm going whoever is playing but i'd like '' THE SANDER '' for bal en blanc plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz !!!!!!!!!!!

So true. Im really sick of trance right now. And we all know about the lack of techno...

I just hope promoters try to bring us quality shows, without over packing their clubs. Good music is basically all i want.

my only wish. 2 words. HERNAN CATTANEO

Posted by Mekroon on Jan-09-2006 20:10:

Sven Vath @ Everywhere, every week
yes

Posted by Marcus007 on Jan-09-2006 20:42:

hernan! ahhhh such a beast!

Posted by all-nite-freak on Jan-09-2006 20:45:

musically i know this year will be good....
for me the best thing a promotor can do...
Find away to get women over the age of 16 back in the afters.
(Circus is not an after its a free brothel for the desperate)

ps Eddie Amador would be nice...a name we dont see in MTl so often and a change from the usual House regulars.

I also agree with Malek...Trance is dead. All melody no meat.

Posted by LiGHT78 on Jan-09-2006 21:02:

Above all else I wanna see quality DJs booked at our massives...

A Global Gathering in the summer would be absolutely rediculase, and I really hope that happens!

Please don't give up on Swirl, we need another one in 2006! Give up on the hip-hop room idea, because that was the worst idea in history!

Bring back Cream, find a better venue for Bal en Blanc (15 minute trip to the bathroom = lose), and bring more passionate DJs to Celebration!

Other than that, hoping for a great year at after hours with Sven, Liebing, PREACH multiple times, Timo Maas, MARCO V (definately deserves more than 100 ppl Tag, this man knows how to hype up a crowd!!), DJ Dan, Masiello, PVD, Schulz, FERRY, Blank and Jones, Erick Morillo, Deep Dish, etc.!

Werd, i think maybe no more drug dealers and random killings would help bring them back. Overall the scetchiness needs to go down a bit.

Posted by Hman on Jan-09-2006 21:03:

my dj list isnt that big
sasha
digweed
sander k
james holden
desyn masiello

Im not saying for women to hit on.(an after is not the place for that and a good way to get pecker acne)Being on a dancefloor surrounded by sweaty shirtless men makes me wanna stop dancing.Aria cannot become the Blue Oyster

It would be a good idea if the dealers where a little hidden.Everyone knows who they are and what they are doing. You are damn right that scares some clientele away who would rather not deal with that.
