I used to be a timmy's hardcore.

but then they started charging by the cup size (no more XL 1.10 tea), and the donuts started coming from a factory, the muffins shrank, the list goes on and on.

They lost my business.

Their coffee isn't the greatest, but I'm there every so often. Never eat there.

I'm loving those hazelnut smoothies as well.

Posted by nadezhda on Jan-10-2006 14:01:

their coffee is disgusting. embarassingly enough, i am drinking it right now though cos i was desperate for coffee before work and the stuff we have in the office is even worse than tim horton's. second cup was across the street but then i would have been late lol.

Posted by CAKE on Jan-10-2006 14:01:

I'm all about ea=ral grey tea and a cinnamon raisn bagel and double cream cheese!

Posted by naillil on Jan-10-2006 14:04:

Tim's is great especially when you're on a road trip and need to stop for a snack. The steeped tea is my favorite. French Vanilla and English Toffee are good too. And their sandwiches are great.
You can't beat the ROll of the Rim contest!

But I go to Starbucks or Second Cup when I need a real coffee fix, esp to get through exams. mmmm... cranberry apple muffin at Second Cup is the BEST!

Timmy's good, love the ice cap in the summer and the fruit/cheese danish is pretty damn good especially if you have the munchies.

Posted by arek on Jan-10-2006 15:26:

haha, you're joking but its almost too true. Tim Hortons is a perfect example of near-flawless marketing; it's almost said, imo, how succssful they've been in becoming a cultural icon. Just look at the responses in this thread. Tim Hortons is a part of every Canadians life, lol
