Toronto Island whiners get their way
According to what i have heard, the docks has lost their liquor licence. Im not sure if this is permanant or temporary but this doesnt look good.
They werent happy until they got the place closed. And I wont be happy until the islanders get their houses bulldozed. Im sick of them.
EDIT BY SWAMPER: DOCKS HAS NOT LOST THEIR LIQUOR LICENSE
very bad news indeed.
so it's hearsay for now? if this is infact true, it's indeed bad news.

if they can do this to them they can do it to anyone... Im sick of how undemocratic canadian cities are toward business in the name of sucking up to a handful of voters. I wish businesses and corperations counted as votes too and then maybe we would see more respect for them.
no matter what we as a peopel do, we can't win because we're not in the group that politicians want to appease.
So we can protest all we want, but what's the use if it's falling on deaf ears?
wow

I know who i'm voting for, and hey maybe it'll bring a nice change.
remember that it's city elections this nov. Research the candidates in your ward and the mayor hopefuls and ask questions. See what their responses are and vote accordingly. Lets get rid of socialist miller and his merry band of "holier than thou" losers. Especially that mammoliti idiot.

That is pure shit....
i don't live in TO.. and i've never been to the docks... but that is pure shit if the docks have to close just because of this
Nikitha
What a bummer!
Hope it's only temporary!
FFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!
No Tiesto, no Danny T...... no major Temporal Rhythm Events - WTF!!!!
System has chosen a bad time to close......if this is the long standing case.
WELCOME TO THE GUVERNMENT!!
Sad and depressing news for sure.....
Hopefully it is temporary.......crosses fingers

Yeah, if this holds up, docks is gonna lose a shitload of profits from the lack of alcohol sales, which just means it will only be a matter of time before they close down.
as much as the ruling sucks no alcohol does not mean the club will close.Alcohol free afterhours work here, why not in Toronto?
sucks ass, friggin hippies.
hope it stays open.
