heh heh, this thread is strictly for those who have an exercise routine, though sardonic comments are most welcomed

So tell me, what's in your MP3/Walkman/discman/turntable/stereo/phonograph etc., when you're at the gym, riding the bike, jogging, thigh-mastering, and so on?

My workout favs are:

Satoshi Tomiie - Global DJ Broadcast WMC 03-08-2004
Danny Howells - Live @ Dance Tuning Disco Kiskunhalas, Hungary
Tiesto - Live at Club Matrix NYE 2003
Steve Lawler & Erick Morillo - live @ PACHA 2004 (five-hour set)
Sasha - Fundacion

Then again, I guess dancing at a club or concert - I won't use the word 'rave' here - is exercise in itself, eh?

if you want to get a good work out.. run/jog to techno.. that will get your ass moving

lately when I have been heading out to the gym the most listened to sets/albums for me have been..

Milos (a friend of mine) did a set for me for my birthday, that is on my list (contains mostly house music)
Preach - Relic Mix Compilation
Armin van Buuren - Live @ Asta, The Hague 6.26.04
Danny Howells - Live @ We Love Space Sundays 7.17.05
Sasha - Exclusive Mix 9.3.05

Lol...i'm not paid to do that...when you're a dj you have some homeworks to do, listening to new records is a big part of it, if you want to be sure to catch the goods tracks!!

I just made vegan kugel to Amon Tobin, although I don't think that qualifies as trance. Sometimes I like fluffing pillows to Underworld and cleaning the sink to Howells.

For the past couple of weeks my fave set to listen to at the gym is
Deep Dish Essential Mix live at Creamfields !! Omigod i just find it has the perfect vibe for me to workout to!!

25 GB of house music?

Hmmmm, 25 GB = 195 albums = $5100 worth of house music. She must be loaded!!!

And I just did the dishes to Howells, perhaps he should sell his soul to Swiffer.

Oh, and I would also like to add Paul Oakenfold - Live @ Gatecrasher (yes, I know he was 'awesome' at Celebration, smirk).

Also, Carl Cox does wonders for the glutes (oh dear).

Ninjaaaaa only 40 GB after 10 years in this scene? I have 25 GB and I've only been into this way of life since May 2005.

For me, it's usually Preach while I'm working out...gets me so pumped up! Live at Family Club, Madrid, Live @ Poema, Utrecht, Free Your Mind Festival....All killer sets to work out to.

Posted by Alex on Jan-28-2006 02:44:

Ninja's prolly gone through 1000000000000000000000000000000 ninjabytes.

I only have 15 gigs worth on my PC, but I delete so much stuff after listening to it once. I have a lot on DVDs and CDs also I guess, and my iPod.

Anyways what I love listening to if I go to the gym is...

Ferry Corsten Live @ Aria, April 15th 2005

Sasha on JJJ "the club" - (Repeat of a previous mix)

DJ Hell live @ Urban arts form

Lee Burridge on JJJ - (Mixup)

Sasha & James Zabiela Live @ Monday Bar

I guess I don't really listen to tracks anymore, so ill just listen to one of those mixes instead, trance is best for cardio! Nice and fast paced.

Working out is one thing, when Im on the bus I listen to something different, same with when I go to bed... When I wanna sleep I need something that'll put me straight to sleep, like Sven Vath.
