Continental GT... yum!

Man, what a sick fucking car! Head down to the Auto Show and ask the Bentley guys to give you a tour. Yumm! Bentley never appealed to me, but i think i'm in love. With that, the Gallardo SE and F430 Spyder. *eyes pop out*

maybe in 85 years when you'll make your first million.

True fucking story:

A few weeks back, me and Engine9 drop off my gf at her house, and drve around her street to get back onto the main road, as we pass a bend of the street, there, on the side of the road, on the inside of a bend, stands a Bentley GT. We were like, "WTF, no effing waaay". We stop, back up, and sure enough it was. We ogled it for a while, hypothesized why anyone would leave such a car on the road, or what it was doing in this neighbourhood at all, and then drove off. Insane. Dundas & Credit Woodlands area.

Bentleys are awesome...

fuck everything else...you see someone in a Bentley, you know they have class...not just money (though they would have a lot of it)

prob going to take off wed. afternoon to hit the show...pics to follow, I hope.

Sure there's Bentleys and other luxury cars, but there's only one Rolls-Royce.

My favourite luxobarge maker.

Many times I've seen this brand new flaming hot rolls going thru downtown with a chauffeur and a little school kid sitting in the back.

First time ever going to Republik I had dinner at "Montana" just down the street. Walked out the front door to go over to Chapters for Starbucks. While waiting for the light to turn, two Rolls Royce Phantom's drove by in succession. I quite possibly shit my pants on that street corner as I just stared in awe.

I've seen a Bentley Azure in London before as well. Talk about out of place.

bentley, rolls royce and maybach. cars that you are driven in and not the driver. they are over priced, over hyped, and over weight tanks. styling i prefer the rolls out of the three but i rather have something like a cls amg or alpina 7er for luxury. something i can drive my self and not worry about the tv's or umbrellas in the back seats that i'll never use.

anyone who modifies a car like a Bentley automatically becomes a complete ghetto loser in my books, lol...unless you're getting a respected industry leader to do it (like RUF used to do for Porsche, Stillen for Nissan, Saleen for Ford, etc. etc.)

It's all about taste, folks. You can tastefully mod a Civic the same way you could untastefully slap some shit on a Bentley. Some people have good taste, a feeling for what works and what doesn't, and some don't. And you see it right away when you see their car.

I had the Continental GT for a couple of days last year. That thing is a Pig, but boy is it fast. Interior is very well done, although it feels like a very upscale VW/Audi (a lot of controls are taken from the A8/Phaeton). All in all, a great car, but not something I would like to own.

The W12 sounds wonky too. Not a fan.
