Parent/Raver Day @ PHD WTF???

What will they think of next? Some of the artists that can be heard at this monumental event are the fugees, samather fox, prince, east 17, house of pain, madonna, zoe, ace of base, 2 pac, tlc, salt n pepper, soul 2 soul, jennifer lopez, kriss kross and the list goes on.

People are encouraged to bring along their parents so they can boogey to the tunes their parents listened to.

"Don't miss this 1 off special event, never been done before in the rave scene history." And probably never repeated again due to lack of interest.

This is taking place during the day on the 25th of Feb. Does anyone else want to attend this before going to two tribes? It will be a rocking experience, and the best value money can buy. As they say laughter is the best medicine, and I think by attending this you could be cured of anything.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE PEOPLE, THIS IS ACTUALLY BEING DONE!!!

yeah saw this... wrongtown. But it's PHD so nothing would surprise!

Posted by MiSSyM on Feb-22-2006 04:53:

Doesnt surprise me....

I mean some parents take their kids to Earthcore.

I even saw some woman dancing with her poor kids & man outside Good Vibrations, poor kiddies weren't even wearing footwear

Awesome!!

My mum's a raver, she does the upper body 'the twist' thing. No shuffle though, so she might feel unwelcome at PHD. And unfortunately she prefers Bob Dylan and the Stones to Madonna and co, but no matter.

I'll teach her the basic ankle twist and get her to pull her hat over her eyes and she'll be set.

Can't wait!!!

Roll call!!

mum would be there with leg warmers if they dropped johnnie

Scotty's dad would only come if they played some AC/DC, Deep purple or Tina Turner.

And my parents would only come if they played some Beethoven or Mozart or some weird jazz music...

Might just have to go with Paulie's dad and grandpa.

My mum is pretty out there. She loves Eminem, 50 Cent and all the West Coast rappers. She also loves Tom Waits (my whole family does) so I think they are more freaky than any PHD kiddies.

Mum says techno isnt good for her migraines

Would love to hear a bit of East 17, they were def in the 90's narcism.

Posted by sezzy on Feb-22-2006 23:42:

let's all do the can can with our parents to swinging 60's music.
