"cheap" mixers where you can't hear the eq changes in the headphones?

are there any? i don't want to spend 1900 on a xone:92 rotary, just so i'd get this function. i'd like it if the eq changes would not be audible in the headphones. it would help me keep the tunes matched much better if i'm bringing them in very slowly subtly, but only old and expensive mixers seem to have this feature.
can anyone help me on this one?

thanks

is there a button which you use to toggle between hearing eq changes in the headphones and not hearing them or is it always so that you can't hear them except when you listen to the master?

thanks.

and does anyone know if any other numark mixers have the same feature and if they're any good (reliable etc. etc.)?

No it doesn't.

skip: i dont think there are any low level mixers that have this option, only more expensive mixers.

I get what you mean. You want to hear pre eq in the headphones apposed to most mixers only having post eq in the headphones.
PCV275 has it. I think it was one of the PCVs that had it for sure.

yes that's what i want. i apparently worded my post pretty badly as most people didn't get what i meant. but are you sure the pcv275 has it? does anyone have one and can confirm this?

thanks!

Used an older high end vestax that did this- pmc 55 i think- but thats almost as much as '92 costs so doesnt help.

really cheap ones tend to have it.

it doesnt, you can however route each channel to the send and returen pre or post eq, i think thats where he was getting confused

PCV-275 definitely doesn't.

Just save money.

I'm saving for a new mixer.

I am one of those DJX700 people...

i'm not gonna drop 1900 for a mixer, no fucking way. never (unless i win in the lottery or something). i have enough money for it, but it's just ridiculous paying that much for a mixer if it's just for home use. mixing is a hobby for me and i don't intend to make it my profession or anything like that, so i think it would be crazy paying that much for a mixer for me.

I just remember using one for a radio gig and hearing the pre eq in the headphones somehow. I could swear it was a pcv275...

let me turn around and make sure
(this is midnight, jeez my neighbours must love me )

nope, can definitely hear the changes.

can you somehow route the signal thru the sends/returns so you don't hear the changes in the headphones? any idea?

thanks!

Uh, isnt this about if we can hear eq changes in the headphones? Because i can in mine (the DXM01-USB). Or is there something i have misunderstood?

this is about mixers where you CAN'T hear the eq changes in the headphones!

sorry to flame you bro, but why cant you just have all the EQ's at 12 o' clock? and make your life easier? and choose any mixer.

...

He wants to hear the tracks PRE-eq

so he can mix into the next track (by adjusting bass/mid or what-have you) BUT still hear the uneffected audio in his headphones.

(because I to have a little trouble mixing in a new choon and keeping it matched proper when I can't hear my highs or bass when im mixing in a track)
