Good luck. I've been trying to source some too - I want the financing option though which is making things tres tricky.
WoW Technics have really dropped in price eh? have they come out with a cdj? i guess you would expect a price drop with so manny dj's making the switch to cd's now
why don't u check out some places online
you can probably get a cheaper price online
djmart.com
places like that u can negotiate the price online

Actually, if i didn't have a budget i would pick up the MkIII's. there are either out now or soon to be released.

| was that for promo use? most sites I've looked at have said they are due for release sometime next week. I know a lot music and dj related stuff gets flooded to Miami before they hit the streets to get extra exposure. |

go with the 800!!!!!!
its great, its affordable and its not much different from the 1000. the platter is lighter and looser on the 800 which i prefer actually but thats just because im not use to the 1000.
picked up my 800 used for under 600 and im gonna get another
Actually, the platter for the CDJ1000 MKII is the same weight as the 800. I used to have an 800 and upgraded to the MKII and this is virtually no difference in the feel.

due to the recent firing of the ceo of poineer japan and model changes cdjs 800 and 1000s have been on back order pretty much everywhere. good luck. ive been wiating since novemeber.
I'm looking to invest in a pair of real dirt cheap ones.
Something like this:

They cost half as much as a CDJ-200.
And probably only half as good. Like anything else, you get what you pay for...

| Originally posted by VinylJunkies I doubt it. djmart.com is based out of Inglewood, California. That means you have to pay for shipping to Toronto plus taxes & customs charges once it gets to the border. Not to mention the prices advertised are in US funds. Buy local for the best price. |
