Hello! Today's The Day!!!

You bet your ass I didn't forget. Today's the day.

The day that citric_acid promised us all she'd show us her phone bills. Some of you may not know it, but citric claims that 800 dollars was charged to her phone bill in a mass MSN convo.

That's right folks, the suspense builds as we wonder, "Is she full of shit?" Well today we'll find out.

Or will she have a convenient excuse prepared, to not show us the bills?

Here's the thread for those of you who don't know the back story:
http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=340557

And here's where she promised she'd show us the bills:

I call major bs on this one, and am expecting her to have some more bullshit excuses ready for us. However, if I'm wrong, I will gladly put my foot in my mouth and apologize for stirring up shit.

Until then, we deserve the truth!

Let the drama unfold.

Within 12 hours everything was current. So there is no excuse that she can have to saying that the bill isnt ready.

I don't need to see a bill to know it's 100% pure, grade-A, Montana brewed BS.

Uhh, I'm pretty sure the people she's accusing of charging money to her bill care. Especially since enferno's offered to pay the apparent charges. And I care because I can't stand liars.

I thought she got the charges reversed and by the end of that afternoon the bill was back down to like 160 american dollars?

Posted by Slylee on Apr-26-2006 14:19:

i don't see why you are so bent on calling her a liar jenny. why would she make this up? to get money from TA's? that's pretty fucking low. that's more like something you would do. takes one to know one right?

I'm sure she did....

Sorry, I just don't believe everything I read on the internet, especially something that really RLY looks like a blatant attempt to cover up the cry for attention that was this "$800 Phone Bill."

I'll eat my hat if it's legitimate.

she quit

No.

Posted by FallingMoon on Apr-26-2006 14:24:

I doubt a cell phone bill racked up to $800 because of MSN...

isn't MSN supposed to count like text messages??

& what service does she have I can tell if she is lying or not.

Posted by CranberryJuice on Apr-26-2006 14:26:

even if citric made up this whole thing why did u make a new thread about it?I totally imagine u having a note on your fridge written "on wednesday create a thread on TA about citric's bill and make some troubles"

that's low ....Anyway the more i read your posts the more i find u totally frustrated that's why i guess u are so unpleasant and harsh in here right?....like to post about my pics ....very mmh smart of u ...

im not a hater but you are the same kind of ppl than radagast ....(i guess that's why u quoted him right?)

She wasn't trying to get money out of TAs.

She was just pissed because they knew she was getting charged and they kept at it.

I kind of don't get where you guys are coming from on this. I would have been pissed. Yah, I would have been responsible for what happened (my phone my responsibility) but I still would have been pissed. I think any of you would have been. You're just enjoying another opportunity to pick on someone in my opinion.

If you're getting charged for incoming texts it's absolutely idiotic to have your MSM linked to your phone especially if you have an extensive contact list. There are options to inable individual contacts from being able to send messages to your mobile account, clearly she neglected to take the available protective measures, subsequently, she has no one to blame but herself. Never rely on the hope that the other person will do the right thing or act rationally! IF her story is true this is a good lesson for her.

Posted by Echo of Silence on Apr-26-2006 14:36:

Jenny, you do realize they were laughing and posting about what they were doing while they were doing it, don't you?

Yes, I think we all agreed that this was a good lesson for her.

Yes, I agree it was shitty of them to do what they did and laugh about it, I'm not nor have I ever disputed that.

But that doesn't mean she shouldn't have to answer for her accusations and provide some sort of proof. She thought it was important enough to make a thread about it, didn't she?

Posted by UWM on Apr-26-2006 14:50:

Wtf, $800? I used to have Verizon and they charged $0.10 for every text message. That would mean that you basically sent / received nearly 8000 messages.

No.

I had a $140 bill once due to the fact that I was an idiot and texted like 800 times over my 250 a month. $140 ... $160. $800?

Posted by FallingMoon on Apr-26-2006 14:57:

If she has T-Mobile she doesn't get charged for INCOMING texts.

& if she has a plan of lets say 200 texts & she does happen to go over it would be $.5 each text after so there is NO WAY that she could rack it up that much unless she has a really shitty service & even then it would mean it was around 8000 texts received/sent

Well, I didn't talk to Deeders on Sunday when this all was going on but it seemed to me at the time that she created the thread to say 'fuck you all.'

And I don't really have a problem with that.

FFS people, she's 17 and she pays her own cell bill. If you were in her position when this was happening don't tell me that you would have smiled and said to yourself, "oh, this is all my fault. These people are nice. I shouldn't be mad at them. I should only be mad at me!"
