LABOUR OF LOVE 06- starring ferry & armin!!

is anyone else excited as my friends & i?!?!?!?!?!? hahaha i fucking LOVE the guv!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't wait!!!!!

HELL YEA!!!!!!!! Going for the first time this year and I can't fucking wait!!!

i went last year and I'm going again this year. Last year was so crazy with Digweed and Deep Dish spinning in the Guv. In the Kool Haus, Markus Schulz, Blank and Jones, and finally Armin spun in there. By far a great party that ended around 9am. This year I know that Junkie XL and Desyn Masiello are spinning. No one else is confirmed but I'm pretty sure either Armin or Ferry wil be the headliner in KH.

it will be my first LOL but my 2nd time @ Guvvy + KH. Went there for my 21st day this year and i'm hooked!!

Woot! Can't wait, its the BEST way to end the summer!! Can't wait to get my ass back up on the skybar as well, ohhhh I miss it soo much!!!

This is becoming a yearly tradition for me, and I will continue to go with lineups that they have been having!!

Blank & Jones and Armin were highlights for me, but Deep Dish closing 8-12 am was so awesome that I had infinite energy till the end!!

Hope to see everyone up there, this will be a FANTASTIC road trip for all of you edm whores There is somethin for everyone: jungle, breaks, trance, prog, house, etc etc YOU NAME IT!!!!!

yankee, do u kno when they usually announce the lineup??? last year i remember talking about being able to see blank & jones and armin pretty early, so i really don't think it should be too far off...

hmm depending on the lineup, i might make it out for this. i went to LOL in 2004 and had a blast. guvernment is definitely one of my all time favorite clubs.

LOL 2004 -- one of the ultimate Tranceaddict meetups (NYTA-DCTA) made SO many friends on that trip!!! <3 I will remember it forever...well THAT being said...I am going to seriously TRYYY to make it this year -- this would be LOL #3 for me as well...


Yup ALWAYS on Labor Day weekend. We should seriously make it as CRAAAZY as LOL 2004 was....

Went to last years...

Went to Guv both Friday and Saturday(LOL)...Friday night saw Mark Oliver whos the resident there, spun a great set i thought kept me dancing the whole night. I had to make myself leave around 5am to save energy for LOL.

LOL was alot of fun...here are some of my positives and negatives of the party:

+'s: Very good lineup, got to see alot of different styles in one night--- Schulz, then Demi, then Diggers, Deep DIsh, and Armin, then back to DD. Also really glad i got to see the massive size of Kool Haus. People were for the most part very friendly as well.

-'s: LOL was packed...and i mean packed. Took like a half hour to go from Kool Haus to Guv. Also Kool Haus was about 110 degrees. They need to do something about their AC or ventilation.

My advice to anyone who goes is make it a weekend trip, dont drive up from NY/NJ on saturday and come back sunday...at least give urself a day to rest up for the night. I stayed in the Hilton Toronto and it was amazing. Definitely some nice restaurants to eat at as well around the city. I also stopped at Niagara Falls where we crossed the border to take some pics with the gang, never been there before so that was good to see as well.

I'm not sure if im going back for LOL this year, but if you've never been to Guv, this is a great party to make ur first trip up for considering Kool Haus they only open for bigger parties.

Think I'm gonna make it up this year!

well we drove up from DC to TORONTO saturday morning 7am, arrived at 6pm...left MONDAY morning..its a holiday weekend, remember? lol

yeah thats KINDA why i don't really like the GUV during HUGE parties like this...but still, vibe is GREAT...and hey, with so many ppl possibly going up, its loooking like it has to be a MUST-GO this year!!

In 2004 we coordinated roll call, cars, talked to each other on AIM/TA extensively in the weeks prior to LOL etc., Got to meet DCTAs face-to-face for the first time during that trip...all in all things ALWAYS happen/change etc. for instance, my bf n i did not PLAN on staying at the Novotel with the rest of the TAs but we just ended UP there. hahaha! it usually is...2003 was FERRY/SASHA and co., 2004 gave us SANDER/DEEPDISH in main room (i think?) FERRY/NU NRG/INFUSION in KoolHaus...i just didnt go last year cuz I ended up going to LP in San Fran...(altho the LOL lineup was HOTTT)

then again I might do this AND SF again (now renamed Lovefest-- its not affiliated with LP anymore but now its SF's OWN version of it!!! isnt that awesome )

Joey (bitchboy) mentioned it to us during Above and Beyond so I think Drew n I are going . but we'll see...LOL a fleet of cars racing MADLY up the NYS Thruway then on the QEW toward Toronto!! ahah LOVE IT <3

doesn't that one TOTA host a TA bbq too the night b4 LOL at her house?? i remember reading something about it last year, but i didn't go.

i would give ANYTHING to have sasha there this year... for one he is fucking amazing, secondly, the first time i was @ the guvy, he was there. does anyone remember who was on in KH right before blank & jones actually @ last years LOL?? i remember there was a guy singing live, and they were on right when we got in, and by the time i got back to KH, blank & jones had come on already. i was pissed, cause it sounded fuckin sweet. i remember meaning to look for their music, but actually forgot all about it until just this very second lol...

Natalie had that last year, but she told me at BEB that is unsure about this year because it was a whole SHIT load of work for her. Perhaps she can make her own comment about it though, I dont wanna speak for her

Greyarea was freakin awesome last year. First time seeing them live.

People, make sure you take Monday off if you dont already have it off, bc the party is on sunday Going the whole weekend and enjoying the city, nightlife, and beaches is the best way to go! I plan on doing the Thuurday-MOnday thing to get my fix

peace: You know what I seriously cant remember when they posted the lineup but it def wont be a full lineup for a WHILE Can you handle it?
