limp bizkit question
whenever i hear somebody talking about them its usually "they suck" os something along them lines.
i was always a big fan of hardcore (not happy hardcore) and i always enjoyed angry music. from dog eat dog, panthera, green jelly...
after rage against the machine stopped making music(BOOO), only half decent hardcore band was and is limp bizkit. musicwise they are almost perfect, good lyrics, awesome energy and so on.
my question is why do people dislike limp bizkit??
is it cause fred durst is acting like a little bitch, or do people just dont like this kind of music anymore?
i mean, all them half assed, emo crying, "my daddy touched me when i was a kid, why daddy why" bands like korn, pappa roach or linkin park have a strong following, making money off of confused kids. and here is awesome high energy hardcore band, and people dislike em.
thanks
I don't know but emo is the worst thing that this planet has ever seen

^ I think you may be confusing dark or gothic and emo.
They were never emo, nor even came close to projecting that image. If anything, they were around years before the emo craze started. Stop talking out your ass. If KoRn was emo, so were 99% of the bands in the 90s. Emo didn't take off till the new millenium.
Secondly, do not say that they suck in a thread about Limp Bizkit, mmmk? They were the same caliber of a band that Limp was, and dare I say better because they have had waaay more albums, waaaaayyy more hits, and their lead singer wasn't a fucking douchebag. Oh, and the solo in 'Freak On a Leash' is still one of the best in rock, ever. So STFU, KoRn > Limp Bizkit, by far.
I'd say the only songs I really liked from Limp Bizkit were Re-Arranged and Now I Know Why You Wanna Hate Me. Nookie and the rest were okay. Rollin' was just terrible.
I will admit to being a HUGE limp Bizkit fan back in the day. When I was in high school I had the red Yankees hat and everything (someone is gonna rip on me for that one lol) but as for people not liking them I think it is due to the decline in the quality of their albums.
Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$ 9/10 (it was great album)
Significant Other 9/10 (it was a great album)
Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water 7/10 (creativity started lacking)
New Old Songs 0/10 (really bad remixes with no creativity)
Results May Vary 6/10 (3-5 songs were decant results defiantly did vary)
The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) 2/10 ( Fred tried to make an album like 3 dollar bill and failed miserably this was almost as bad new old songs but he gets 2 points for effort)
The good news to the limp faithful that are still hanging on is Limp Bizkit is releasing a greatest hits album. LOL
