Caleb and I are really excited about this. Our stage is going to have so much sound it's almost ridiculous. As well, our visuals will be sure to please.

I've got tickets, as does Caleb. So send me an email at [email protected] or PM Mikefasssy.

nice poster guys
i like how it has a map of where everything will be, instead of trying to wonder around figuring out what's where and what

Still got tickets for $10 each. Give me a shout ([email protected], 604-908-UXUD) and I'll run em out to ya if you're within greater vancouver. You get one free for every 15.

The boomch stage is coming along great. My act is going to have a live drummer (acoustic drums, sexy)! The final count for sound is going to be around 30,000 watts running off two generators. There'll be two 14'x18' visualization screens taht will be displaying random madness throughout all the shows.

As well, Kyle Nordman and Danny Taylor! Holy crap!

Hope to see some of you out there!

is that somehow related to your live PA?

Posted by blazer on Aug-05-2006 18:59:

pumped for this party....hope it's as good as last years.

Posted by apri_peel on Aug-06-2006 17:54:

well that was fun
too bad i cant friggin sleep beyond 10am cause im so used to getting up early for work

so cool party, i really like outdoor events because you've got so much choice and if you don't like one thing you can go elsewhere. i spent most of the time at boomch tho because that was pretty much the only stage that had prog and trance. others had either hard house, hard trance or electro, which is fine for short periods of time.

i have to say for first timers, gavin, adam and caleb did a pretty good job. the tunes were great and gav's set with the drummer with pretty cool.

a word of advice to those who plan on driving to summer break, dont park along the road, park on the grass in the designated area. i saw 3 cars get fcked. one had a broken glass, as in it was totally shattered. two had their left tail lights crushed and the backside scratched cause driving through was so tight and it was dark on the road so people just smashed into them.

the only major crappy thing was stages weren't set up very well, so a lot of times if you're not right in front of the stage sounds from more than one were clashing. somehow at summer break last year it wasn't like that, maybe because there were more stages at apex.

lastly, i saw some people who i havent seen in a long while.
mr jesten made an appearance!

Yeah, my car got the backwheel buried in the soft gravel and I required the assistance of 4 very nice ppl to push my car out but it still took a while. Thanks to all who came out, stopped by the boomch stage.

Lastly, thanks to Gav and Caleb and the whole crew for inviting me out to play with them on their stage. Great setup and for my first outdoor event, turned out awesome.

sorry couldn't make it

Posted by uxud on Aug-06-2006 22:02:

That was an amazing night for all of us at the stage. The whole place was packed with happy dancers from 930 until the morning. Even when we turned the generators off to refuel, people seemed to flood right back to us when we powered back on.

Thanks to all the DJs who came out to a first-time stage at our little company to keep the banging tracks going all night!

Pictures soon!

for this one night only. Great sounds.
Loved the electro @ the miami stage.
Good to see everyone again!
