Perhaps the truck was burning rubber?

Posted by MKpacha on Jul-13-2006 15:15:

thats a huge slip up...the route had to be super wet to make the truck lose its load like that...

Not only wet, I'm sure that was a very narrow road. Most truck drivers are very skilled when driving on slippery road conditions, it's part of their training. However, when the road is tight, it's easy to slip and lose the load.

do you think it could be due to the fact its a rear loading truck?

Posted by Elendil on Jul-13-2006 15:38:

Or perhaps the truck had just pretended to be carrying the condoms - you know how some of them like to drive with their trailer uncovered...

Excellent point. Although a lot of these new tracks are able to receive their load by using more than one opening (front, back, sides). It's very convinient for the workers as it saves time, However the load sometimes is not properly balanced inside and may cause unstable conditions. Something the ministry of transportation may want to look at.

I wonder if the driver had any control on the spillage

PS. gotta love how some of the puns are just flying WAYYYY over some people here LOL

i swear to god, the guy that wrote this article is just patting himself on the back and will have this memory engrained in his head for the rest of his life.

if i was a journalist, i would live for the day something like this makes it by the copy editor.

you see it all the time on Jay Leno's headlines (someone should send this in).

yep...they gonna use their hoses if anything since the other protection still led to an accidental spill

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Jul-13-2006 19:32:

Should have just put the load into another truck.
