Beaches Jazz Festival (July 21-30)

Is anyone going to check out the Beaches Jazz Festival this year?

Did anyone go to Partigras last weekend? If so, how was it? I really wanted to go, but unfortunately I was too busy

I'm definitely going to check out the Streetfest on Queen St. E. at one point this weekend. The beaches jazz festival is always the best jazz-fest in Toronto; mainly because its all concentrated in one open area, its free, and u just get to walk around and experience great music of all styles. I'm really looking forward to it. (unlike the Toronto Jazz Festival that is spread out all over the city, and is fairly expensive to keep up with... but then again, they get bigger names)

i only caught the last half hour on sat. distillery was packed. all the tables were filled, ppl dancing, good times.

btw mahan, remember that guy that opened for jacksoul at harbourfront a couple of weeks ago...well he was at parti gras. when i heard his voice i remembered the guy right away.

and yes, ill be going to the beaches jazz fest also

hahha, nice that guy was pretty good. you didn't happen to catch his name this time did you? last time he wasnt on the program, and he didnt really introduce himself.

Better yet...I can just ditch the "Rock the Boat" Cruise and go to this instead...haha...

I saw some of it at the distillery on friday night, it looked like lots of fun.

Are you guys interested in setting a TOTA meeting location? Then we'll just walk around check out the bands, hit a few bars/resturants etc.

How about setting up a meeting spot for like 2 or 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday then who ever is interested, can show up there on which ever day they can make it.
