how many beer do people usually drink?

i was just curious about this. i mean when i was in college i can remember some nights getting close to the 20 in a night range but nowadays its hard enough trying to polish off a 12. do i just drink too much or does everyone else usually sip back this many. im talking a night where you plan on getting shit faced too. not a casual sipping night.

If you are drinking all day at a nice pace you can hammer a 24 back with ease.. now if i'm pounding them back a 12 pack and a perfectly rolled joint will put me in the clouds..

an average night at a club is 2-5 beers for me.
my neighbour (a chinese guy) is about my height and weighs around 160 lbs. he picks up a 24 case of labatt ice every night after work and finishes it by himself when we are chilling in his garage. i think he may have a slight drinking problem....

+1..everything he just said cept 8-10 WOULD get me shit faced....In college it would take me a few more, but now I am warm and fuzzy after 4, drunk after a couple more......

Yeahhhhh - After this past weekend, my wine consumption will be very limited.. Red Wine makes me do stupid things. Usually I can only do a couple glasses, but two people went through two bottles in the space of about 45 minutes.. Definetly not my finest hour :S

As for beer, I'll go through about 8 or 9 on any given club night, but for a house party where I'm in the mood to drink, I'll polish off 12 or so.. Gotta leave room for other goodies.

How many glasses of wine in a bottle? I can take a full bottle of wine to myself without a problem (in fact, that's my houseparty drink of choice now - I get nice and happy stupid drunk, without feeling sick, and without a hangover in the morning).

red wine gives me a hangover like there's no tomorrow that's why i usually limit myself to about half a bottle at a time. although i like beer i don't like feeling bloated on it and for some reason beer gets me drunk faster than hard liquor. 10-12 beers in a night and i'm gone. that number in shots/hard liquor i'd still not be room-spinning drunk.

I apologize, I should have asked the frame of time rather than your weight. If you're drinking the whole day, then yeah, 20 is possible. I don't know how many I could take since I usually get sick of beer (like taste sick, not puky sick) after about a dozen. Then the taste gets so revolting that I can't drink anymore.

A friend of mine and I decided to try to drink 24 beers in a day last summer.
We started at 10 in the morning and just sat by my pool all day and told our friends to stop by and visit us since we would be bbqing and drinking all day.
By the end of the day I was so drunk I fell through my screen door and my mother yelled at me saying "you do not need to drink every beer in essex county".
We made it, but I was probably more drunk than I've ever been in my life, and thats saying a lot!

fack, a case of labatt ice... those things mash me... i do good with a single 1.18L large bottle of those things... 2 means there's gonna be madness!

otherwise, with normal beers... at clubs... maybe 7 or so. but at somebody's place, where I can crash... the sky's the limit, have cleaned out 2 thirds of a 24 before and not suffered too much the next day

i'd imagine that's not a good thing...

i've played power hour - a 1oz shot of beer each minute for an hour. 5 beers in an hour does a good number on you.
