Calling all CD-J200 Owners
So im thinking of purchasing a CD-J200 to go with my Numark DXM06 i just purchased earlier this week. Anyone know if the CD-j200's are solid bang for buck?
If the most you're willing to spend is $330 and you don't scratch, then they're your best bet.
i think we're thinking on different lines here (my fault for lack of detail). But i meant the Pioneer CDJ200's like in this pic

According to decks.co.uk, They're actually selling better then CDJ1000's
I dont see how hes thinking of something else.
You cant scratch with cdj200s.
If you dont scratch and dont mind not having vinyl mode then go for them for sure.
Sorry, i meant my response to this bit:

Who said i never had turntables? :P
Moving up in this digital world to CDJ's & Ableton Live like most other djs seem to be. Thanks for everyones response. I'm just awaiting the arrivals now.
judging by the fact you als bought an entry level mixer I assumed you were starting out.
Techically speaking i am. I had Stanton str860's for quite a few months. Brought them in England when i was with my ex fiance (the person i was meant to be living with for the rest of my life). And well.. When things went soggy and i had to go home I couldnt afford to bring my turntables with me. So they got sold on Ebay
.. Sad day.
With the sale though, i got money. Some of which i apparently owed my ex fiances mum.. So in all i was pretty much beaten while down. Thanks to the good people at Centrelink iv reached just enough to skim myself back into Djing with some 'decent' gear.
Eh, overall id say things worked out alright for me. Iv now got gear coming and a new woman in my life. Party On
CDJ200 = win
They are worth it, trust me

I am quite aware of his location.. But thanks for coming out..
Like I said, you'd have to be a retard to pay that much for CDJ 200's.

Believe it or not, things cost differently in different parts of the world. go find an AUSTRALIAN website or store with them at that price and I'll believe you. Until then I'll believe the ~$800 prie tag I've seen in stores here. |
(yeah, I realised why you converted it that way so i deleted that bit, my mistake)

)
what sort of idiot thinks you can just adjust for currency and prices will then be identical anywhere in the world?
Er, well first i want to say i did actually kind of find your original post, Stating i had to be a retard pretty offensive and uncalled for. And could have been worded a bit better.
And thanks to trance nutter for standing in for me while i was out watching the box, awaiting delivery of the mixer which is sheduled to arrive later on today.
Concerning the actual price arguement. I didnt actually pay $999
