Odd Art

what are some of the interesting, odd, weird, stupid art pieces you have seen?

One for me was going into a black room where the wall had a close up of something flat on it. Then youd see a drop of water hit the surface and the room would shake and rumble. They had set a microphone under a drum and zoomed in on it with a camera. the slow dripping water would then strike the drum.

The other was a pyramid of metal on 4 posts and it was outside on the walkways of the school I went to. Hated it for 2 years because it was so ugly and pointless until I looked down and saw the shadow it was casting was a perfectly circular sun image. It then became cool.

A few months ago I was in Melbourne and went to the Australian Centre for Moving Image, an arthouse for moving image (videos etc).

Yeah it was pretty much all weird.

Architectural art I don't mind but damn theres some fucking weird moving image out there. One of them was some grown guy in diapers with a hoola-hoop against some fairy-tail music and flowery background. That was pretty much it. There was another 15 minute one which just didn't make sense, not because I didn't get it but it literally just didn't make sense, the dialogue didn't make sense, there was no link between the scenes, it was just............

In Adelaide:
In our main mall in the city theres a sculpture of 4 pigs which is really popular, a couple are just standing there, another is perched looking into a bin and another is doing something else. Completely random.

In the same mall we've also got "the malls balls" which are well known. Its two giant silver balls perched on top of each other. Its a well known part of Adelaide.

cow parade in warsaw:

they were all over the city

on bus stops too (one of those on the busses had her insides out and it kept mooing)

this one was at the airport, my firends posing

some of them were corporate sellouts, this one is sponsored by canal + or some other cable company

I guessed correctly on that last word. That's only because 'dohm' is home, in Russian.

In the recreational building foyer:

Literally only a few blocks from my house. I think it is old machinery from the ancient ass factory shown behind it.

Oddly enough, I have never seen this. I would like to know where it is...

This is across the street from my place. I can look out my bedroom window and see it. The building behind it is where I used to work :

Again, one that I haven't seen. This looks like it might be a close up of the other one that I haven't seen... Weird :

This one is just around the corner from me. I think the angle in which this photo was taken makes it difficult to tell what it is. I personally think it resembles the shape of a person. But looking at that photo, I think that some of the art must have been removed or something because there is an extra piece there I don't recall seeing:

This one is located about 4 blocks from me, right outside of our public library, (as you can tell, I live in the heart of the city here). This is obviously a person, and if I remember correctly, it is a woman as the statue has breasts.

Slightly to the left of the dogs head, you can see a red building. That's my place

nice here in winnipeg canada we got all over the city big ass polar bears just random shit like thoes cows haha its nuts !
