i want tiesto and picottos set from 2tribes

now can anyone get a hold of it?

Posted by Renegade on Mar-12-2002 15:00:

Well, I don't think it was broadcast on the radio so unless someone took a data recorder or something in there to record em both we could be struggling a bit I think mate. :-/

But yeah, it would be nice.....

Posted by tas on Mar-12-2002 15:06:

i know someone who did

but they used a high quality md player
but a shit mic, which means distaution so its a no go

Posted by discitelli on Mar-13-2002 02:56:

what! no recording, that sucks!!!

Posted by trixxie on Mar-13-2002 10:21:

tas...you think your dissapointed??

i was relying on that idiot to get me that recording seeing i couldnt make it... he brought a 400 dollar md to record it... and a ten dollar computer microphone... and promised me it was gonna be mint.

unfortunately my foot is gonna be up his arse very very soon!!

Next time i'll try to bribe some of the audio-techs in one of those events. They should have all kinds of equipment to record DJ sets and how do you know an audio recording of TWOTRIBES 2002 doesn't exist???

Posted by tas on Mar-14-2002 12:39:

there is one out there

thats guaranteed

the question is how do we get our hand on it

Posted by stipsy on Mar-14-2002 14:05:

i wouldnt bet on it tas...most djs have in their contracts that there set is not recorded...or else they can refuse to play etc etc

Posted by tas on Mar-14-2002 14:54:

i agree with wat ur saying stips, but someone was sure to bring in an md player or something

Hehe, i knew there were to be no cameras, so me being the loser i am put my finger over the flash in all the shots. None of the 27 photos i took turned out!

how was the night ?? i was going to head over for this but didnt end up going .. as for getting a recording well if kissFM was still around u would have it,, i got a few two tribe sets about 2 years ago. BT's set was by far the best and some other progressive melb DJ was really good cant rember his name.. other sets which would be nice are from Gods kitchen, john 00 flemming and guy ordenal , dropping dumonde never look back and many other amazing tunes really made my night.

i thought BT wasnt a dj..??
just a producer... (a bloody good one mind you )

Posted by jeronemango on Apr-03-2002 09:26:

BT did a live set,, like underworld.. with comptuers keyboards etc.. one time he did this set with some type of scanner which translated the human brain waves into music..

Posted by Jah on Apr-03-2002 12:27:

yeah i saw that on ag looked pretty cool
any news on sets from this year?????

Posted by ascension on Apr-04-2002 05:55:

ahh... yea ive heard his live *shows* are really good

apparently he's begun mixing and stuff now... probably wont be long till he's an acomplished deejay too - with his musical talent

Unhappy

Yeh and the people on the local forums were too off their chops to even help build a set list for Tiesto or Picotto - either that or their to fkn lazy...

So no set or set list.

ugh.

well in melbourne tiesto played something like

insigma - open your eyes
4 strings - into the night
dreamcatcher - i dont wanna lose my way
oakenfold - southern sun (tiesto mix)
windsider - hidden flight
king of clubs - revelation (airwave mix)/airwave - save me
tiesto - urban train
cj bolland - the prophet
tiesto - lethal industry
way out west - mindcircus
being definitely the last tune

im sure some1 can fix that up hehe

Posted by Tweak on Apr-17-2002 00:01:

Wasn't BT also DJ Brian?

Posted by webmeister on Apr-17-2002 13:46:

Bah you whingers :P

What I can remember of Tiesto's TT set in Sydney:

01. DJ Tiesto - Urban Train (Original Mix)
02. Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (DJ Tiesto Remix)
03. Not sure on the next few...
04. ...
05. Windsider - Hidden Flight
06. DJ Tiesto - Flight 643 (Original Mix)
07. Katana - Fancy Fair
08. Don't remember this one..
09. King of Clubs - Revelation (Airwave Mix)
10. Sorry forgot this one too

There's probably several missing, but remember it was 6 weeks ago now and I was off my chops at the time
