Well to the Israeli thing. I look at as Israel has the right to exist without a doubt. But when they win land from battles, settle, impose thier own laws & curfews & try to annex, they are asking for trouble.

Its like this. You have your location checked as Los Angeles. Imagine the U.S. govt for some reason gave Russia all of Compton for them to settle & live. Well the people that were living around Compton would be pissed. Some would rebel, but most would realize they gotta live with it. But once the Russians decide to invade Hollywood/Beverly Hills, killing many, militarily occupy it, throwing people outta thier homes, knocking down thier houses & build new houses for Russians. Well... its gonna get the people living there unified against them. All of a sudden you will have all of LA united racist against anyone whos Russian. There would prolly be a terrorist uprising that would make Hamaa's & Hizbullah look like childs play. No one wants thier land taken over by any foreign army. Especially an army of a totally different culture & religion.

i understand what your trying to say but you really didnt answer my question i was asking what actually territory have they occupied?? I udnerstand they may go into Gaza to destroy a house or two but is that considered an occupation?

well its a little more than just destroying a house or 2. Its destroying neighborhoods & installing new ones with new people. Its destroying a culture. Its the control & harassment by IDF soldiers. And its not just been for a matter of weeks or months. Its been almost 1/2 a century. So yes, just like America does, its called occupation.

It's not a conflict about "Muslim land." It's about people being forcibly displaced from their ancestral lands so foreigners can occupy and settle there. It's the destruction of neighborhoods, towns, villages, families, communities, a culture, so that someone else can reconstruct it and make it their own. So, it's not so weird. I know you wouldn't allow someone else to do the same to you, or would atleast resist in any way you can. Rightnow they live under a brutal and illegal military occupation that has lasted over half a century, and are being killed and dehumanized.

The fact that they're mostly Muslim and Christian has nothing to do with any of the above.

Do you honestly think that for Israel to exist their Military needs to collectively punish and dehumanise millions of people? destroy its enemies civilian infrastructure to prevent running water and power from reaching hundreds of thousands of civilians and crippling their economy? kidnap thousands of people and holding them indefinately without trial? destroy hundreds of crops and orchids which were peoples only livelihoods? demolish thousands of peoples homes enforcing them to live in squallid refugee camps because a person who lived in each of the buildings committed an attrocious suicide bombing?

"Poverty Causes Extreemism" this is an undeniable aphorism as true as 1 + 1 = 2. Israels disproportionate acts of violence and oppression (or as they like to call it "sending a message") is what fuels this hate driven cycle of violence; for as long as a people/society/culture are opressed (be they Australians, Americans, or Palestinians) where the majority of a poppulation are below the poverty line and live in abject terror in fear of Israeli "State-Sanctioned Terrorism" there will be Palestinian terrorism against Israeli civilians. Fighting fire with fire does not work.

I'm really poking fun at the people who have end the occupation tshirts of Muslim land.. didnt really mean to get into a heated debate

With all that space, I'd imagine they'd have room for palestinians. Plus the language should be similar (after all, don't palestinians already speak Farsi/Arabic?).

It's about destroying the very last counter-ballance in the region. Palestinians are nothing more than a chip in the hands of some middle-eastern countries in a high-stakes game to convince the rest of the world that Israel should not exist. Think about that for a second.

Yeah, let's go invade Ireland or some other random country and settle there. White people have all of Europe/America/Cananda/Australlia to live in after all, what's the Irish people's problem?

actually alot of arab lands dont want the palestinians so they are forced to try to get israel back

I don't understand why this debate keeps on lingering on. Far brighter minds than ones assembled here (no offense) have failed miserably to discharge/resolve the situation one way or the other. All it does is continues to pin one group against the other, with no clear solution acceptable to all parties involved in sight.

Because there would be no conflict, atleast so aweful in nature (for both "sides") and of the magnitude it is, if it weren't for this (i.e. agressive militarism, expansion/conquest, terrorism, extremely deplorable human rights violations etc). And you guys would get along just fine, if one/both sides didn't claim exclusive owernership/entitelement.

I still don't know why they can't just scrap both sides altogether and just call the region Jerusalem or something else. Give it a name all can associate with, governed by equal numbers of moderates and just get the ball moving towards peace.
