ROLL CALL: Indoor Beach Volleyball

It's cold outside and you know what that means, beach volleyball time.

There's this place called the Hangar that offers indoor beach volley for 10$ as stated below.

Late Night Volleyball
Add some spike to your weekend starting October 13, 2006!!!
Friday and Saturday nights from 9:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
Only $10.00/person

I'll go check it out tomorow, if anybody wants to come, they're welcome to join.

I'm also planning to go at least once a week, so this could be a recurring roll call.

If Hangar (Downsview Park) is not a convinient location for you then North Beach (northbeachvolleyball.com) is also holding their 'Rock the Sandbox' nights every weekend.

Friday and Saturday nights (9:30 - 2am)/$10 ANNNND there is a bar.

I'm at the border of Oakville and Missi. Unfortunatly I haven't found a place in this area.

But I'll gladly give a ride to whomever needs one and is on my way +small detour.

Speaking of West End.....

Brand new facility. Sand got brought in last week. Spoke to the owner and he said they will have a similar deal as the above mentioned facilities.

$10/person 17:00-24:00

I've never been there but it is looking good, only drawback is that there are only 2 courts.

Desidel....this is something you might wanna add to GTAVOlleyball.

i've never heard of anyone not knowing how to play volleyball..haha
isnt it like a mandatory part of highschool gym? damn, they made me learn basketball and i hate it.

I only attended grade 12 here in Canada.

They did teach us back in my secondary school. um I sucked.
I only used to play netball. bastards. I came here to Canada being a total n00b to any other sport. That sucked.

i busted my knees falling over playing basketball grrr

the only sport i liked at skool was volleyball and running 100m races

Was going to join up for somthing similar to this a few weeks ago with one my buds , but I think we missed the deadline. Is it too late for this leauge?

if ur referring to the TCSSC league i play there on Tuesday nights. i don't think it's too late since our fall season just started but you might incur some late fees if u register now..

Well it's a shame nobody came tonight as I was alone.

So if any TA would have been there we would have had the couts to us alone.

That being said, I spoke with the guy in charge and he told me that usually, Fridays are busier than Saturdays and it start to have lots of people in November, October usually being very quiet.

I'm still planning to go either next Friday or Saturday.

So the roll call is still on.
