It's not trance because there was no significant breakdowns to speak of and the hook was awful... Also it's very vocal driven (bad vocals). I think the synth was simply dual layered too, which is not trancy at all. (Sorry I don't produce, so I can only speak from a listener's perspective) Did I mention the vocal was awful? Also the drums kicks in 20 sec in to the synth with no changes to rythem, hmmm dead give away to something not trance.

Edit:
I know that there are trance songs that breaks all the rules and stuff, but this isn't one, ok? O yeah, sorry for being an Epic Trance fan :P

Sounds like shit to me.

I really don't understand how people can get into these "chipmunk" vocal rubbish tunes.

You, my friend, are an idiot.

Remember, kids. Trance does not require a breakdown to be trance.

Oh, that track? Um... Hard-J-Pop-Style...?

You, sir, are a bigger idiot than me. I didn't say that JUST because that son didn't have a breakdown it can't be trance because all trance song have to have breakdowns. However, most trance does. Perhaps a better wording would have been that there is no build ups in the song.

Posted by Salegon on Oct-24-2006 17:23:

I call it shite.

Last time I checked this wasn't one of the things a trance tune needed to have...

What does that have to do with anything?

Posted by halexander837 on Oct-24-2006 18:10:

I think tracks like this make people look like total nerds.

Posted by thoughtlessjex on Oct-24-2006 18:10:

Guys. It's called Happy Hardcore. I had it pegged in the first few seconds. Chipmunk vocals, spastic breakbeats, hoover synth, booming kick, oompah bass; it has all the elements right there.

So yeh, it's cheese, but the definition of HH. But it's HH, so no one should be caring.

Posted by kramer333 on Oct-24-2006 18:49:

this... my friend, is the very definition of cheese!

happy hardcore is its prime in the 90's had some half decent tracks this is just commercial pop euro dance aimed at the 12 year olds.

You, my friend, have obviously not listened to very much trance.

OMG, lol this is like very bad 90s style euro-dance and it's completely trash!Mind you, "happy hardcore" which is an early 90s ravey idiom has NOTHING to do with this(not that happy hardcore was quality!). What's with the helium voice?People like smurfs singing? What the fuck!

Posted by montana on Oct-24-2006 20:39:

no, proper cheese is done by taking some bucketloads of milk, a bit of yoghurt, some tablet thing, and then some salt. mix them in some order, and then just let it mix together and malarky and then just letting it cool off.
