Fav set intros

I'm quite a fan of a nifty we intro for a good set as apose to crashing straight into an opening track.. so what're your fav set intros?

Gabriel and Dresden - live on trancesphere birthday bash (2004)

Johan Gielen - Live @ Trance Energy (2002)

Paul Van Dyk & Pete Tong - Essential Mix, Gallery @ Turnmills (1999)

BT - Essential Mix 1995-09-24
Kitaro - Land Theme

Parks & Wilson - Essential Mix
Jin Long Uen - Bow To Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva
the way it mixes into Tilt - The Dragon is fantastic

DJ Taucher - Live at Clubnight XXL 11.11.2000
Alexander Skryabin - Andante Cantabile From Poeme No. 1 op 52
into Taucher - Pictures Of A Gallery is wicked
what a genius intro pick by Taucher.

Re: Fav set intros

Matt Darey had some great intros, he used a couple of them on one of the Euphoria albums he mixed about 6yrs ago.

Some of Oakie's '99 EM's had some great openings.

A set intro that's not an opening track itself, way too many to list. On the other hand, an opening track that serves as an agreeable intro to a set, to list just one, would have to be the classic

Vapourspace - Gravitational Arch Of 10

I sincerely hope you had to look that title up.

It's great indeed, though. Normally I'm not a fan of those intros, I'm more of the seamless blending of one set into another one (fvck those people asking 'who's on now?' continuously) but this is done well.
