dreams that drive you crazy for the rest of the day...

so last night i had this dream in which i was hanging out with two people i have never met nor seen in my entire life...

the first one was a hispanic girl named Jamie. she was really pretty and in my dream i admired her, but she never spoke or said anything. she lived in kind of a ghetto neighborhood, like behind a warehouse or some run-down looking buildings.

the second one was Jamie's friend (or brother maybe?) named David. he was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses throughout the entire dream. i couldn't tell if he was hispanic or white. him and i talked a lot in the dream but i don't remember much of the conversation.

there were many other people who appeared in my dream. my cousin Allison, RJT (but only via a phone call - i never actually saw him), and lots of random unknown people... but Jamie and David were the 2 main characters that i spent the entire dream with.

now... the dream started off with Jamie, David, and myself getting into David's car (a mid-80s Honda Accord) during a rainy night. we were apparently running from something in the ghetto neighborhood Jamie lived in because the first "scene" of the dream was a car chase. it lasted a really long time and i remember being really scared, especially since all the streets were wet. if i had to guess where we were, i would guess somewhere in Queens or Brooklyn.

eventually we pull into the driveway in front of my mom's house and it's no longer raining and it's sunny outside. David parks the car and starts laughing and begins to tell me this is where he used to live. i can't believe it but i think, alright... cool. then he tells me he still has the keys for the house, so we can walk right in. this is where i start to freak out, because i realize that he must have had keys for the house the entire time i was living there.

my mom isn't home so we decide to throw a party. we go upstairs and start making phone calls. i receive a call from RJT who asks what i'm up to and i tell him that i'm at my mom's house. he freaks out because he hears voices in the background and wants to know what's going on. i tell him that we're just throwing a small party and that i miss him.

the party is going on, but it's not at my mom's house anymore. it's at this huge building in a downtown area that looks like a luxury condo. there are lots of windows, several floors, and since it's on the ground floor, lots of patios outside. i find my cousin Allison and we go outside to sit on a bench on one of the patios and the traffic is driving by us really close and really fast.

as soon as we sit down, i turn around and see Jamie and David leaving. Jamie looks sad and David looks tired. they don't say anything to me but i know they're leaving and i don't want them to. i realize i don't know anyone inside the party (except for my cousin, who i'm sitting with), and that i'm going to miss Jamie and David after they leave.

once they leave, Allison and i start talking, but not by speaking to each other... we write notes. i write out that i need to call Jamie and find out why they left.

the last thing i remember is sitting on the bench still watching the traffic zoom by.




i can't get this dream out of my head, and i keep trying to figure out who "Jamie" and "David" are supposed to be/represent. it's been bugging me all day long. i keep having little flashbacks to events in the dream as if they were real events.

i think i need to start smoking pot again.

damn.. you remember crazy details about your dream....! i rarely remember my dreams.. i do sometimes and are vivid, but once i wake up and couple hours pass by, i have hard time remembering them.. your shit sound like a david lynch movie..almost.

the kind that drive me nuts are the kind that make me wake up horny and then think about nothing but sex for the rest of the day.


yea that pretty much happens at least 3 times a week.

that is one fucked dream

and that's a funny dream myra, but my recent dream about being in europe to see carl cox and having my friends leave me behind only to get on the wrong bus going to istanbul and not caring because i wanted to see turkey so bad was waaay weirder. lol

i decided to take a 2 week break. started on Oct 13th, and i am not smoking until my birthday - Oct 28th. i had a lot of shit on my mind and i basically wanted to prove to myself that i didn't need to get high on the weekends.

but it's causing me to have FUCKED UP DREAMS!

I have pretty intense dreams majority of the time. Sometimes they're so intense that I can't do anything normal all day because my mind is always on the dream, and I'm trying to figure out what it meant (if anything). I'm a dreamer, and I totally believe that dreams are our deep psyche's way of telling us something.

Whats weird though, is that I usually have the most crazy dreams when I smoke a lot (daily) than when I do it weekly or...well...weekly is the biggest breaks I take.

Car crash dreams are the worst...your driving then you go head on into something for no reason and then you wake up right when you crash.

my mind has been on this dream all day...

i hate when i experience a certain emotion in a dream and then wake up still feeling that same emotion. i've had that happen so many times, and sometimes it's really hard to shake my mood and remind myself that it was just a dream.

sounds like ur just having some pot withdrawls.

i actually started smoking again...well i shouldn't say i "started" again, but i've smoked pot like 3 times in the past month. it was fun. i don't see myself making a big habit of it like in the past, but i was glad i didn't get all paranoid like i used to. i got in a zone and started playing playstation with my friend's 4 year old son. it was awesome.

I think its your subconscious telling you that you should dump RJT because hes not okay with you hanging out with other people without him.



But no seriously, thats a REALLY detailed dream. My dreams are always "we were somewhere with some people that kind of resembled so and so and then all of a sudden we were somewhere else that I kind of recognized..."

i could have gone into even more details, but the post would have been way too long for a COR post.

I once had a dream where a friend of mine stole a subway train to drive to Aruba so he could get the sand out of his vagina.

No part of it made sense, but it was so freaking hilarious that I couldn't stop laughing the whole day.

My friend is a jerk, by the way.

Oh man this reminds me of a dream I had about 2 weeks ago. Can't remember too many details from it but I was in a car (backseat) with my cousin behind the wheel and his ex in the passenger seat. We were driving down a freeway that I've dreamt about before, numerous times, but this time I was going in the opposite direction. What's even weirder is that in the opposite direction, I recognized the freeway as one that I frequently go on in Warsaw. Anyways, the main "feeling" of the dream was that I was going to die. That's the only thing going through my head throughout the whole dream. I struggled to get my seatbelts on but for some reason the clip would lock and just kept slipping out of my hand. After a bit, the car started swerving to the sides and just as it hit guardrail, I woke up.

My day was completely fucked after that.

I had dreams that made me go crazy for months, sometimes a dream is just a dream, your fears things you've seen during the day your Collective unconscious does the producing..etc

If it's a message you will know it immediatly and you don't have to force anything be in realxed state of mind and that's it, you will know if it has any significant meaning.

one of the benefits of quitting smoking bud is that you actually start remembering your dreams. I had a few weird ones last night myself but I dont remember that many details

these are not really dreams, but are sorta like halfway asleep and awake. When it feels like your almost at the edge of a cliff or something, and when you start to turn your body, your like.. AH! feels like your about to fall.
