The disappointing state of TA these days (and no, it isnt about drugs)
There's no rule that everyone who posts on TA has to get along and be friends, but until recent member growth, that IS how TA was. Many here remember the days (not that long ago) when everyone would rally around the shit disturber who was out to cause fights, and only endure them til they eventually got banned. Now, people here are praising the shit disturbers, and trying to get their own spotlight by becoming one too.
There's a lot of new people on the board who are starting / jumping on the "I hate Dallastar" bandwagon, using some really cheap shots, and being blatantly rude and cruel to her face at times ( < the most shocking aspect- its one thing to be that way behind the monitor- I guess it shows consistency if u wanna be rude to her face- but it says a LOT about your character that you are that easily annoyed that you're willing to be cruel to their face as well, and resort to the basest of all insults: insulting her appearance/ weight. Seriously- how old are you people??
There's an ignore feature, people. Don't like what certain people have to say, or they annoy you? Put them on ignore, rather than try to ridicule them/ make fun of their appearance (the most childish response in the book)/ break their spirit/ start wars, etc... cuz you only make yourself look immature/ bitchy/ mean spirited/ cruel. Guys are notorious for calling people names, but girls should be more sensitive to peoples feelings (not like we as adults shouldn't be already). I find it extremely appalling when I see a woman out to beat another's spirit down and actually gain enjoyment from it, and there's plenty of that happening now. If that's the way you all want to portray yourselves to everyone, it says a lot about you.
Dallas is a very thoughtful person in real life, and while u may not like her posts or postwhoring, for every person who's annoyed (or even hates) Dallas, there's 2 that love her, or have experienced her kindness, help and generosity.
I'm not telling you all to be her friend, but people exhibiting this behavior should grow the F up.
Lets go back to manners 101 folks- treat people the way you want to be treated, and if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all.

i wasn't aware that things actually got to this level, but if they have infact - good on you for bringing it to everyones attention.
i am one to bump heads with certain individuals on here, but at the end of the day, it's nothing personal. and when i see them in person, it's more of a joke really.
insults like that should NEVER stem from personal beefs on the boards, that's just plain ignorant and uncalled for.

I know nothing of this, but you said it right when you stated that reflection of a character is evident when individuals take things from this board too far.
I've yet to meet her, but she always has...bubly posts that bring a simle to my face.
Most people don't realize that common sense is just not common.
The rule of thumb of treat others like you want to be treated will hardly ever be followed by the majority of people. We are far too ignorant. However, I am sure there are numerous amount of people who take offense to ALOT of the posts on here and with that being said I can only see that maybe Dallas has brought this on herself. Her posts might have aggrevated people to the point where they deem it necessary to go out and personally insult her in order to feel better about themselves and or simply to just back at her. Now I don't know Dallas whatsoever and I hardly pay attention to specific posts so I can't really verify what she would have done to well piss people off or if people are just doing this out of pure sh!ts and giggles... the only thing I do know is that what goes around comes around... so if Dallas was the initial sh!t disturber maybe this is the result of her so called postwhoring? Otherwise if that isnt the case whoever is going out and personally insulting her will get their turn sooner or later... without a doubt though it is quite childish to say the least.
