Maybe they'll get counting crows too, and the streets if we're really lucky.

Way too early for this. Other than the Cure the lineup has not even been announced yet. How could anyone really know and say they are going until that time, and until other conference parties are announced as well?

The Cure is okay. But why not bring Kraftwerk, true pioneers of EDM???

I agree but Kraftwerk is about 85 years old and i think 2 ppl from KW played at a rave when I was a senior in highschool.

They actually just peformed in South Florida recently and I heard the show was great. And the Cure is just as old, and not nearly as good of a show.

Thing about the Cure is.. Ultra is becoming a BANG! / Coachella event. If it's anything like last year.. then I prob won't go.

It's the same dj's every year. Last year was hardly any trance. I think 2 and that was all.

I'd like for it to have the rep as the states best ELECTRONIC MUSIC festival but it never will if they keep bringing the same damn line up.

I agree with you that Ultra's lineup was crap this year, and has slowly gone downhill for years. Bang's lineup was actually better IMO. That is why I suggested Kraftwerk for Ultra. I would also love to see Chemical Brothers do a full out live PA at Ultra. Their shows are amazing. And of course more trance is needed. Best stage at Bang was the trance stage, by a landslide IMO. The energy at that stage was unmatched.

I saw them do a Live PA show at Ultra 6 in '04 and it was absolutely boring.

No trance. Big deal. Trance is a small minority of electronic music. Yes this is trance addict, but can't we appreciate all forms of EDM? Especially for one damn day of the year?

Yes its the same damn lineup... of many of the top DJs around the world in varying genres.

There is nothing like an outdoor music festival of that size... and ELECTRONIC music to boot? Jesus that is a gold mine. Nobody can find that in the US anywhere except Miami Florida.

When you live down here and most of us (myself excluded of course) get force-fed house every single goddamn fuckin' weekend, we expect some MORE diversity of genres at the festivals when they do happen. We bitch about not having enough trance, or even hardtrance, and other genres that we don't get enough of down here thanks to blockhead club managers who don't have open minds but rather have their heads up their coke lined asses and that's the bottom fuckin' line.

Sorry for the rant, I'm from HELL.
