Jester News: Soy "is making kids gay"

This is some of the funniest shit I've read in a good while.

http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53327
quote:
The dangerous food I'm speaking of is soy. Soybean products are feminizing, and they're all over the place. You can hardly escape them anymore.

NO ESCAPE!

quote:
If you're a grownup, you're already developed, and you're able to fight off some of the damaging effects of soy. Babies aren't so fortunate. Research is now showing that when you feed your baby soy formula, you're giving him or her the equivalent of five birth control pills a day. A baby's endocrine system just can't cope with that kind of massive assault, so some damage is inevitable. At the extreme, the damage can be fatal.

Soy is feminizing, and commonly leads to a decrease in the size of the penis, sexual confusion and homosexuality. That's why most of the medical (not socio-spiritual) blame for today's rise in homosexuality must fall upon the rise in soy formula and other soy products. (Most babies are bottle-fed during some part of their infancy, and one-fourth of them are getting soy milk!) Homosexuals often argue that their homosexuality is inborn because "I can't remember a time when I wasn't homosexual." No, homosexuality is always deviant. But now many of them can truthfully say that they can't remember a time when excess estrogen wasn't influencing them.

This guy really ought to be a comedian.

That guy needs to get slapped in the face by a large penis several times.

Posted by infinity HiGH on Dec-19-2006 22:47:

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Dec-19-2006 22:48:

haha, I read this exact article a few days ago. The man made me really mad because he is so fucking idiotic.

The day after I read it, I went out and bought a carton of Silk out of spite. Whaddaya know, I'm not gay yet. Well, not any more than I was before, at least.

Obviously not, being hung like a horse and all.

I found the related poll even more amusing:

quote:

What do you think about eating soy?

It's a great source of protein

My partner 'Bruce' and I love it

FDA says soy is fine, and I trust the federal government

I don't like the fact it's used as an additive in so many foods

Where did soy mania come from? When I was a kid, I never heard of it

Rutz is starting to convince me of its dangers with scientific
eidence

It has unpublicized dangers, but homosexuality is not among them

Jim Rutz is eating too much red meat and it's constricting his brain cells

I don't eat soy. End of story

is soy always perceived by [insert group here] to mean soy milk? if so, why?

when i hear soy, the first thing that comes to mind is soy sauce, a very salty sauce present in a great many of the dishes i cook.

So I guess for those of us who are lactose intolerant are destined for a life of homosexuality. No wonder Asian guys are so emotionally sensitive.

Posted by TweeK on Dec-19-2006 22:55:

Is asian soy sauce included?

Posted by Clovis on Dec-19-2006 22:57:

That entire "news" site reads like an arm of the white house press machine.

P.S.: Soy sauce is fine. Unlike soy milk, it's perfectly safe because it's fermented, which changes its molecular structure. Miso, natto and tempeh are also OK, but avoid tofu.

It reminds me of that Colbert episode where he figures out that Orange Juice makes you gay from the minute maid commercials...

Channeling hatred is a multi-billion dollar industry because it takes people's unfounded suspicions and validates them. People like to feel like they are a part of something, I guess.

It's not like I am a diehard liberal anything, but conservative ideas and most often people are really just absolute shit.

I hate the opposite liberal side almost as much, the difference being that at least most of the time they aren't pushing absolute backwards BS ideas from the middle ages.

Its like...fuck...get over the whole homophobia thing already...we're going on 2007.

You'd almost be willing to bet someone in the Dairy Industry paid a certain Mr Rutz some money.
Kind of like how the whole Atkin's conspiracy (the guy who did the low carb, high protein diet thing) about him dying from heart failure/obesity, when all he did was slip over and hit his head, that was all started by some weird Vegetarian group with links to PETA
