They are trying to hypnotize you to come to their event. Do not look directly at them!

Then again you're right also.

Most likely them two have talent and some skills which their Talent Agency is trying to promote and therefore through connections had them two underaged High Schoolers booked @ Pacha. It might be a good investment. IMO

I said the same thing!!

Maybe they think novelty will draw a crowd when tiesto is at crobar the same night!?!?!?!?!?

My 2 Cents is this: On the night when a super club like Crobar hosts a trance DJ, like Tiesto in this case, a lot of House heads turn for alternatives like going to Pacha or other venues to hear some other House DJ play that weekend. I do the same thing sometimes too because on any house night I know half the club and feel like I am among friends and at home. Although, when I go to a trance party I still know people I would hang out with but it isn't the same for a house head.

PS. I am listening to Roger Sanchez mix recorded from some German Radio Station and two chicks are talkin sexually in German but it sounds just angry as though them two are sticking me up at a robbery and about beat the living crap out of me.

How is that sexy??????

Bout the kids, I agree with you that Pacha is trying to counter with a house DJ, but come on, they could have found someone better than a 15 year old kid. I truly believe its for the novelty, that's why Pacha is promoting that they have a 15 yr old kid.

I was listening to part of a mix they did on their myspace page. They were okay. They used Bodyrox Yeah Yeah behind a crap vocal, it was okay, but the skills were lacking.

I hear ya, cuz I would of rather hear Richie Santana on main floor and Kieth Blackstone in the basement. Wouldn't that be more of a counter in nYc local counter to Crobar.

At that moment I made a switch to my dearest Mix "EM 09.16.2001 - Victor Calderone"!!! [HIGHLY RECCOMENDED]

no, but i do know the story of a bunch of other amazing house DJs that followed in the footsteps of Morillo in my area... my areas a bad area but there were a few house DJs that sprouted up here and there through the cracks, like Morillo and everyone in this area (he lived less than half a mile from me) he took up with him... my boy used to starve himself with the money hed get from his parents to eat lunch at school and would use it to buy records since he was like 12, hows that for a story? and theres hundreds like it... sounds to me here that theres someone at Martinez's camp that knows someone that knows someone... more power to them and good luck but i think theres tons of other DJs, both known and unknown in this city that deserve a gig like that, whatever happened to rising up the ranks? looks to me like someone who personally knows them is giving them a free pass up there, who knows though...

Yeah, I've actually heard good things about them from the rhythmism board in the past few months. I believe they played APT a little while back and they did a 718 Sessions party with Danny Krivit a month or two ago. With Krivit's reputation in the NYC scene, if he's vouching for them, that says a lot to me.

they look so cool though

i don't think anyone is hating. Indeed they must have skills. I liked the little bit i heard (although it needs little brushing up), but i don't think it deserves the main stage at the no 1 or 2 spot in NYC. Open for someone, or hit some of the lowkey spots first!!

much respect to them, but i still think its novelty at this point.

I'll be at crobar that night, but mainly because I'm a trancehead and not to keen on house.

Posted by ReenTeenTeen on Dec-27-2006 07:59:

They are not my first choice but unless I find a better party in the city that night: I am going to Pacha. I dun wanna play can I squeeze through all night with 4,000 other people inside Crobar. I rather hear some supposedly talented kids play PachaNY. I saw Tiesto enough in one year to instead investigate on young duo.

or rather, sounds to me as if someone's entirely speculating on one club night b/c a couple of young cats got a gig at pacha.

i'm under the impression that you don't think they've paid their dues...you mention 'free pass' and that 'someone who personally knows them' is hooking it up.

pu-pu-please...

and i wasn't asking if anyone else had a story about some dj's that are passionate about the art...i was just sayin' if anyone knew anything about these cats.

word to the mayor.
