Ticket prices announced for PVD/Sander, Yoshitoshi, & Morillo @ Space

For better or worse here are Space's ticket prices for these 2 events. And it's that sliding scale thing they like doing now.

$40.00 before 1:00 a.m.
$50.00 after 1:00 a.m. but before 5:00 a.m.
$60.00 after 5:00 a.m.

Edit: BTW I believe Morillo/Subliminal prices are the same.

Sorry if it wasn't clear.

Those are advance ticket prices, and tickets are good until/after the stated times.

This system they are implementing concerns me a little though, because how many of each are they gonna sell and will they oversell like in 2005? Time will tell.

I cannot imagine what the prices will be at the door.

Yeah they edited it, and I am not sure if/how to fix it. I thought it looked funny so I left it alone.

Although I am sure DA will say the editing is right and that TA is just taking the "shit" out of Yoshitoshi.

yea i'de like to get the ticket for just $40, but like you said if its gonna be anything like '05 it will be worth it to pay for the $50 ticket just to save my ass. and if you pay for the 40 and show up at 1:10am, what the hell do you. like once at the door i mean, do they make you pay the extra $10 to make it $50? or do you then have to pay what the price at the door is? alittle confusing if you ask me

I am pretty sure the tickets are only good until the stated times, and if you pass them you are out of luck. In other words if you buy the b4 1:00 a.m. ticket, be there super early to avoid the hassles. If U R thinking about Friday with PVD/Sander you have to get there early no matter what, because all the trance heads will be there for PVD plus a lot of house heads will go see Sander. If I recall correctly last year at 12:30 a.m. Space was filled to capacity for this event. The end result will depend largely on whether Space oversells, a question which no one but LP (Space owner BTW) knows the answer to.

We got there just before midnight last year. It was packed inside but the line was slim to none. I think we'll be ok before 1... but who knows.

Posted by Cool1g on Jan-31-2007 05:33:

last year we showed up at 630 or so that sunday morning for Yoshi after being at the Burridge Barrage at Bed...

Space was at occupancy and the few people getting in were paying $120 i believe...so $60 presale seems like a good price.

we ended up having to drop $X,XXX at 630 for a table on the patio to get in!

yea i know this drill all to well as in '05 LP decided to sell tickets at two ticket outlets, (wanttickets, and ticketweb i believe) and then they also sold tickets at the door, we got there at 12:15 and waited in line till 4:00 and still weren't in the place, so i left. i'm definatly going to this super early, but i'm guessing i should buy the "before 5am" ticket, just in case. i'd like to find out the deal with the 1am, like if your SOL or not once at the door. i guess i'll try to e-mail space, but i doubt i'll get an answer.

they fixed that problem in 2006. they basically oversold the place in 2005 by selling tix at the door so that was very closely monitored last year and if you didn't have a ticket in hand it was was a long wait during peak hours.

I tried to email space once and I got a mail-delivery-error cause their address wasn't operating...

Question:

What if you buy a ticket for $40 and get it mailed to you... but show up to Space at 5am.. What happens then... I mean you do have a hard ticket in hand right???

obviously only Space can answer this question, but my guess is that if you showed up after 5am with a $40 ticket you would be SOL. they would be contractually within their rights to not honor the ticket as you did not show up at the right time. i would say its safe to assume the ticket will have the admission time printed on it based on whatever you pay.

here's what it says on wantickets website:

Paul van Dyk
Sander Kleinenberg

guests Oscar G, Cedric Gervais Edgar V and others
Please make sure you purchase the correct tickets. The before 1am ticket is only good BEFORE 1AM. The before 5am ticket is only good BEFORE 5AM.

If you arrive after the cutoff time, you will be required to pay the difference.

If you plan on arriving after 5am, please CLICK HERE to purchase the After 5am tickets.

if you want to get in, you need to be there at 10pm and still wait in line for 1 hour or more, if you get it at 11pm or 12am, you wont not get in ... SERIOUSLY...

i'll be there at 10pm

Whats the lineup this year for Yoshitoshi?
Woolford, Graham, Sultan, Fanciulli? If so I'm there again... basing my decision on Woolford.

FYI for Erick Morillo/Subliminal last year, we walked right in with no wait around 1am (we had presales). they were not letting in people without tix.

as i noted before earlier that morning at 630 for Yoshi it was at occupancy and nothing you could do except drop $X,XXX on a table.

So far only the Deep Dish boys and Tong have been announced. Although you can expect a bunch of others to be added.

To be honest, I thought the prices would be higher.

I think I can find a way around it.

I agree, wait until Mansion reveals their lineup and then we'll see how bad it can get.

AS4 Space, the $40 ticket is worth it for PVD because you know Edgar will be opening, so getting there early was a given whether it was conference or not.

I hope you give PVD another chance this year, he has done serious damage the last two times @ Space.
