What makes sleeping with someone else while in a relationship wrong?
Serious question, serious repsonses please.
Just got dumped, huh?
assuming person a cheated, you do wrong in the view of "do upon others as you would have done upon you" if a) you wouldn't like being cheated on b) partner of a is now hurt and you don't like to be hurt... etc. no exact right or wrong, depends on your standpoint.

depends on how committed you are to each other, and where in the relationship you are at.
what if both of you agree to do it, does it make it right?
You can still be committed to someone while sharing emotions with someone else.
Laughing with someone, sharing a tear with someone, all emotional activites that are allowed to do with others.
Sex, a physical activity, shunned.
Why?

It is just a piece of cultural information that has no more objective value than the latest fashion trends. You are free to accept or reject it, but you can't escape the reality that you will be judged by it.

are u fist fucking me? everything is wrong if ur in a relationship yet sleeping with someone else. its like 9/11 the remix
it's not necessary wrong...it all depends on how your girlfriend feels about you sleeping with other chicks. but that's it, only sex, nothing more. when it's more than just sex then it's wrong imo.
cheers!

Aside from the risk of severely damaging someones emotions and exposing them to diseases, genetically there is no advantage for someone to be raising anothers offspring. Its the way we're wired and to some degree how society is wired, if youre not bothered by emotions, disease or raising anothers children whilst living outside of normal society then you could probably get away with it to some degree.

having sex with your bf or gf is an intime moment shared by both of you ,
from the moment one of you is doing the same (having sex) with someone else most of the time the other person wont know it before it happens unless it's let's say an open relationship ; as a result the trust u've put in your bf or gf is altered , but more than that it's the simple act to have sex with someone else while u are officially involved with someone which is hard to accept
so even if it's purely sexual with the other person and there are no feelings involved it's still hard to handle and accept and to go on having a relationship
personally ive never cheated on anyone but having been cheated on was such an intense pain and so hurtful that even if i was already considering to be faithful as something very very important and wasnt envisaging to be with someone else while involved with someone ....it comforted me in this position because i simply wouldnt like to bring pain and suffering like i experienced to someone else
to sum up i wouldnt like to do something i didnt appreciate at all to someone !

My personal thoughts... Sex is a multi-purpose activity; it can be had as a bonding exercise between loving partners, it can be done strictly for procreation, or it can be had exclusively for recreation. I've never strictly equated sex with love, it is quite possible to love someone and not have sex with them or have sex with them and not love them. I also believe that having sex with someone other then ones partner if the motivation is strictly recreation does not indicate one loves their partner any less. That said, I have not and would not have sex with someone other then Mrs. Hazard because I know she does not feel the same way about this subject as I do. She would be hurt if I were to have sex with someone else, therefore, I deem such activity to be "wrong" (for lack of a better word) as it would cause pain to she whom I hold most dear.
personally i wouldn't do it, because I wouldn't want it done to me.
Its an intimacy thing. It violates the feelings of privacy, closeness, and uniqueness.
Why would someone want to be deeply committed to someone that doesnt treat you like youre the only one?
Some people might be desperate enough to let their partner show them that they dont care which persons hole they are with as long as its a hole, but someone with some standards and self respect would never accept that.
It would be over for me first time no going back.
and if they did it in my house id kill them both and dance over their corpses with feathers stuck in my hair and beads hanging from my dick howling at the moon.
