PvD in Tampa Review
$100 tickets.
Some mofo dropped us 2 tix off the balcony.
Entry fee = $0.00.
Mofo slammed it hard @ ~140 bpm or maybe more.
Club was packed as fawk.
Gave up on the night by midnight but got lucky.
Sorry to anyone who paid $100.
Tunes included some classic '03 PvD stormers and also some new ID tracks.
Proper review coming later.
hundred bucks for a show full of classics (read: old tracks) that ended at midnight? sounds sketchy
Well....
We ended up at the Amp, then Hard Rock, now hotel 
PvD did pretty damn good for 2 1/2hours. The $100 tix was crazy! But what can you do?
Overall a good night! 
Why would someone pay 100 dollars to see one headliner? INSANE!!!

Urgh, $100, are you kidding. I wouldnt even pay that to see pvd at space during the conference
I will say that for $40 and a 6 hour set in NYC friday night, it was an absolute stellar set. It was better than the August 20th 2005 set but not quite as good as the Nov 4th 2005 set
Here is the NYC review thread , no one was disapointed
that is only what they were charging at the door for people who did not have presales. Who knows how many people actually paid it.

50 bucks is steep but not bad, Tiesto in vegas was 140 at door!
Presales I think were $30 and they sold out of those. Then I think they went to $50, I have no idea why they jumped to $100. Come on Amp, honestly.
I thought it was awesome Brent. I would have loved to have seen you there.
He started out a little slower, then picked up big time as he always does. He did a lot of mashups too.

What a crazy weekend for PvD. Tom went to the NYC show and said it was great.. but he played alot longer than 2.5 hours.
What can u expect in a place that closes @ 3 am guys.
PvD is the man.. I hope to see him soon cuz I'm needing my fix. [Hell no to PvD @ WMC. space is too retarded on a regular night i can't imagine wmc.]

The man is on fire. He is IMO the best DJ on the planet right now. The way he mashes up tracks and does live remixes is unmatched. His energy and flow did not let up for the 1.5 hours we were there.
The deal w/ the 100 tix...
Presales were 30. They sold all but 100 tix to be sold @ the door. Around 50 of those tix sold @ $50. As we were waiting in line @ 8:15 PM the price went up to $100 for the remaining 50 tix.
I have no idea how some mother****** dropped us to tix off the balcony... fucking nuts.

The scary thing is ~50 people paid that.
The guy @ amp was telling me they were getting 300 for Oakenfold.... if that's true.... wow.
