Review : Christopher Lawrence @ Guvernment
wasn't expecting to go to this, but im glad I came
Christopher Lawrence started playing at around 1:10 am and started off okay, nothing special( I guess to test how the crowd reacts). He played kind of slow/dull and dark trance then at 1:50 am he played a really nice track that really blew me away. Its hard to describe but this track had faint tribal vocals in background and somewhat uplifting and energetic. Anyways it was AWESOME. Then he had some techier tracks that were okay. Then I met Cenik which was cool, looked like he was having a great time( can't wait for your killer review
) Then from 2:30 - 3ish is when his set really started to get good. The energy level pretty high and nice techy melodies that were really fun to dance to. I was really getting into it and the vibe was improving by a lot. But then my non-EDM friends started to got really bored/tired and then I left of 3:30ish. It was a pretty fun night overall. Now I can't wait to see how the rest of the night was.
Christopher Lawrence (7/10)--> Had a nice variety of moods in his set. Half tracks themselves wheren't that great but the other half was really good.
a bit more later

good times tonight at guv. christopher played well and mark oliver kept up the energy with his closing set. manzone&strong murdered it in the drink. a few ta's were in the drink loving the beats. greg gow and nathan barato also did a good job in the gallery for the little while i was in there. jenna jameson next saturday! woot

Hey, can you guys help me ID a track that was played in the Drink last night? It had a guy singing "get down" the whole song, and then there's like a short flute sound after he says it. It was played at around 4 AM last night.
