tiesto- elements of life *review*

just got tiesto's new artist album elements of life. overall i think it has some some good tracks. it feels like he takes on a variety of styles from vocal trance to progressive to more mainstream stuff. some of the tracks sound waaaay different than his older stuff though...not exactly what i expected but most of them are great. sounds mainly like a different style of trance which really isnt bad at all...i was getting kinda bored with the generic stuff other producers come up with which sounds the same for the most part.

overall elements of life is a solid album from tiesto....now its time for pvd to release some new stuff hehe

If you mean PvD, Coachella has the blackout period, so it probably won't be until late summer that he comes back.

Tiesto should be coming back to LA later this year too.

i think its gonna be even later than late summer hes gonna be in ibiza till the end of september

and as far as elements of life goes...im definitely gonna use some of his new tracks in my next mix hehe *insert inappropriate smiley*===>

I really like the track with Jes. I have like this weird attachment to her voice since I heard Starchildren way back in the day... + she is pretty good lookin w/ straight hair...

Anyway, I really am content with the CD so far (haven't finished listening to it yet)... Will buy though.

Ten Seconds Before Sunrise and Bright Morningstar are the best. Not thrilled about them though. Kind of disappointed. I was expecting another In My Memory.

Elements of life is a crap track imo and alot of the other tracks are filler tracks.

I'll just wait for the remixes to come now.

Edit: Carpe Noctum is not bad. I kind of like it although it does sound a little bit of his past work.

i just heard the track elements of life, and it sounds like i heard this track before (or maybe it sounds like another track that im familiar with). overall, very boring track as it keeps repeating the same thing over and over.

i was actually thinking the same thing. sounds like a track off of parade of the athletes or something. cant quite put my finger on it

Ten seconds before sunrise is a good track too.

many tunes, only 1-2 choonz.

you got to give him props for track #3 Can You Feel Me. actually the vocals make the song so good!

My rating comes from his *very* early work and how magnificent it was.

I really can't say any of the songs are special.
I really miss his Kamaya Painters days.

Amen! and the in my memory album, I was introduced to the genre trance through him. But one thing I love about EDM is its evolution and progression, we should lock and savor those memories ...most of his trouble I think recently is trying recreate what he did so well before.

IMHO, stop before its too late.

Yea, it should be on there, the track I do believe has remix potential.
