i suppose if you came in around 10am or later you might get away with it but i wouldn't try that earlier in the night.

and Nikki Beach is more of a beach club with dancing

Shut up stupid he was saying that so that he doesnt risk getting the boot, because the simple fact is that maybe a my boy the door guy lets you in but someone else managing the club inside might not and that might suck getting the boot.Just my advice from some one who has been to Space a couple times.

My advice would be to dress in jeans and tee shirt then you have no problem,to be safe that is.

Very correct, dont compare a club that is diffrent fom the rest to Space they are lax but not stupid..

difference between a "night" club and beach/pool/cabana venue.

Posted by CleverName on Mar-13-2007 06:59:

Space used to have some class but now they let any crackhead in. Shorts, flip flops, whatever ghetto shit people want to wear, anything goes.

I'm 99% sure all the clubs relax their dress codes on the night of Ultra because they know everyone is coming from an outdoor festival.

Posted by beema on Mar-13-2007 15:15:

I wore shorts and running shoes last year to meganite and got in without paying or waiting in line.

So disregard what the first guy said and wear whatever makes you comfortable man.

Posted by teckniqueZ on Mar-13-2007 16:01:

Ya wear whatever you want.Thats a good idea, have no class its perfect.

It's not about "class" you elitist loser. It's about being comfortable when you're dancing for 10 hours straight.

Besides, dressing nice does not a classy person make. Most of the greasy obnoxious rude douchebags I see at clubs are dressed in fancy designer clothes. So what. They are still assbags with no class (this goes for girls too).

edit: I fail to see how your suggestion of jeans & a t-shirt is "classy" either. Shorts & a t-shirt is pretty much the same thing, except it keeps you cooler.

Bro you are a tool. That is all that needs to said, and from what people say about you are are a bitch too and also you have said the same thing i said just about people who dress nice and women for that matter, punto.

Hopefully i meet you sometime.

I should punch you in your face if so, "bro." Just shut up and pull the stick out of your ashy white colon, will you? Why the hell are you getting so mad over this thread? Who cares if I told him he can wear shorts?

Posted by teckniqueZ on Mar-13-2007 16:18:

Well that being said..You dont know me that well.Kid.

That being said, you don't know me me at all.Boy.

Stop all the 'roid abuse and maybe you wont be so angry for no reason constantly?

Posted by teckniqueZ on Mar-13-2007 16:20:

The elitist comment was the reason for whats going to happen. The loser part also.

Ok then?
they were the same comment...

anywho
If it were a club that caters mostly to the VIP crowd, I would say dress nicely just so you don't have any problems. Space seems to be a pretty open "rave" club, so I wouldn't worry about it. Atleast it was when I went there.

Posted by teckniqueZ on Mar-13-2007 16:33:

You have already said what you said and telling me that you are going to punch me in the face over the internet is a very "roid abuse"respnoce if you ask me.

Also i take that back i've seen your pic and you deffinitly arnt on a "roid diet",most likely penis and crack for you.

On another note wear what you want you seam to have a distain for poeple that dress apporopriatly.

I said punch you in the face because I said I want to do that to anyone who calls me "bro" in a different thread.

Now you are talking about dessing "appropriatley," which makes even less sense for your case. I find shorts and a t-shirt plenty appropriate for dancing around in a hot sweaty club for hours.

I don't have disdain for people who dress nicely or well -- not to blow my own horn, but I usually dress pretty nice, nicer than most of my friends even. It's just that when I'm in a hot crowded place doing a physical activity, I'd like to be more comfortable than dressy clothes allow for.

I do, however, have disdain for people who think just because they are dressed nicer than someone else, they are classy and more important and a better person.

Posted by vtec junkie on Mar-13-2007 16:52:

Both of you need to stfu and stop the personal attacks already....we are how old??? There is nothing "classy" about Space during the Conference and you can pretty much wear shorts, sneakers, and t-shirts/tank tops/wife beaters. Wear whatever makes you comfy but I would not dare to wear flip flops....shit gets packed and the last thing you want is somebody stepping on your feet or stepping on a broken bottle/glass.

Now both of you kiss and make up!

Posted by teckniqueZ on Mar-13-2007 16:57:

Cool but i dont take kindly to threats towards the face.

Posted by TheNicest1 on Mar-13-2007 16:57:

Be Cool!

come on people we go to wmc not to fight, we go to have a good time, wether we dress $hitty or not we all love to have a good time its all about the music my friends. as for dress code i hear they are relaxed and were last year but if there is a chance just dont take it thats my advice

I can tell you that the door guy "Angel" is not hear any longer and he was very lax reason being foir him not being at Space anylonger. I have been to Space in particular more than a few times.I have seen some pretty embarrassing episodes the last couple of weeks,so throw on the guini tees, flip flops and board shorts..And remember what was said that some may get in with that attire some may not, so take it or leave it..

Posted by ambs on Mar-13-2007 17:13:

space has absolutely no standards anymore. if one of the neighborhood crackheads wanted to get in, they probably could...

don't wear flip flops though... you'll get the infamous "space toes" and you don't want to find out what those are

Posted by beema on Mar-13-2007 17:18:

Yeah definitley don't wear flip flops. Unless your feet are made out of stone or something. Not only will they be black and sticky by the time you leave, but they will probably also be bleeding from being stepped on.

Of course, admittance is always up to the discretion of the particular bouncer you encounter. There's never any set of standards they abide by -- that seems to go for all clubs everywhere. So if you're really worried about it and don't want to take any chances then don't wear shorts.
