Darkbeat turns 4�..
Due to the overwhelming response we received from our last day party event at Brown Alley we have decided to re-live all the glory again on Good Friday !
We would like to take this opportunity to thank every body who has been a part of the Darkbeat vibe over the last 4 years ! There have been many highlights over the years such as Lee Burridge, Clive Henry, Petter, Chris Fortier, Hybrid, Anthony Pappa, and Lexicon Avenue as well as the absolutely amazing local talent we have hosted here in Melbourne. We have certainly had a great time running our events and could not have done it without the overwhelming support of you guys !
And as a thank-you gift we have organised the mother of all day party�s and it is FREE, FREE, FREE !
We will be transforming Brown Alley exactly the same way we did for our last day party with Pappa & Fortier with tables outside and food also available !

When do front row tickets go on sale Darius?
As this is a FREE event my friend, everyone will have front row tickets to the show , because we all know that you only get one shot at the title..
however Rajab (our local mc down at the seven eleven) seems to think that you get 2 shots at the title if you live in sydney

Ex-pat Aussie Friendly will be returning to his homeland for a club tour of mashed-up breaks, electro house, bootlegs and other oddities you could expect from the DJ/producer. Achieving enviable success as a live act in Australia in the mid to late 90�s, Friendly has been a regular on the breaks scene in East London for quite a few years now but confirms his sets are now taking in a range of other �dirty� sounds.
In addition to his longstanding residency at The End in London, he has also played across the globe from Europe to the US to back to Australia again. Some of his successful international releases have included The Bump and Grind and Glottal Stomp, which have been caned by some of the biggest names in breakbeat.

Darkbeat 4th Birthday DJ Comp
To coincide with our 4th Birthday - we have 2 DJ spots available (main room and side room) which we would like to make available as a once off to up and coming DJ's.
This is a great rare chance for young aspiring DJ's who are into the right sound to have a main room gig at what will be one of our biggest parties of the year. Also a great opportunity to play along side some of Melbourne's finest.
So if you know the Darkbeat sound please send us a demo ! Please no emails about genre�s/styles just send us what ever you think is good music !
One main room spot will be available, as well as a side room spot.
Up - and - comers only apply please!
