common names for deejays

ive noticed that alot of deejays like to stick the name "van" inbetween there dj names.




what are some other ones?

Many of them like to stick "DJ" in front of their names.

Uh "van" is a common dutch/german/european name. I dunno what the exact term for it is, but you'll find it being used a lot. Not sure if it's a part of the last name or first name (thinking last name). It's what they are born with, not anything special they name themselves to sound cool.

i suppose but to me whenever theres a van between the name it kinda sounds vampiry to me lol ..plus it does kinda sounds cool..i mean paul van dyk sounds better then paul dyk so that might be another reason why they ad van into it cus it sounds cool.

anndnddddddd in case you don't know, Dj Mystik released a shitload of mixes he made, except all the tracks on his disk were titled:
1. Dj Mystik-For An Angel
2. Dj Mystik - Carte Blanche
etc
Intentional or not, lots of socal wankers bought it as his genius productions.
Then he fell off the face of the earth when his distributer was under 10 tons of pressure for him alone.
