Would you date a poor chic?

So this girl I'm seeing FINALLY let's me see her house. We're on our way there and I'm looking around the neighborhood and thinking "Hey, this area is pretty nice."

Next thing I know she tells me to stop infront of this beat the fuck up, run down SHACK. In my mind I was like "fuck no, you got to be kidding me." I was speechless.

The entire neighborhood has white painted fences, green lawns, flamingos, the whole works. Then you come to her house and it's like Katrina landed her fat ass right on it.

We go inside and it seems like an average home though. Furniture, T.V.s, computers, pictures of the family, etc.

Men can be gold diggers too.

Make it a project to fix up her house! That is if you fancy doing construction. Thats what i would do or have her shack up with you.

Ok... so that means her parents are poor, not her. AND if she is going to college, at least she is trying to better herself so that she can get a career and not be poor, therefore making the value of her parents estate irrelevant.

However, in my opinion, if you are concerning yourself over the monetary value of a person, and letting that get in the way of your appreciation for her as a person, then you deserve to be alone and bitter.

fuck dude, you ain't poor unless you barely have the clothes on your back and you're struggling to find food for you and your starving kids.

I really dig her. Her personality just beams, and we have fun together. Basically all I ask for in a relationship.

There's just something in the back of my head that can't let go of the sight of her house though. Maybe it's how it stood out compared to the others? Or the fact that there was no way I would have guessed based on her sense of fasion/hobbies.

I just think...dirty. Like...STD's dirty... .
