What You Guys Think Of Ronski Speed?

i always thought ronski speed was another cheesy trance producer similar to pulsedriver etc.. but ive been listening to his music lately, "the space we are", "atb - renegade (ronski speed remix), * (incognition) etc.. his music isnt bad actually.. what you guys think?

he has a couple of early remixes which were ok, ie. sun decade - I'm alone and aly & fila - eyes of horus, but pretty much everything since has been a big pile of steaming horse feces.

Nothing good, nothing bad, just a big pile of "meh".

Love his remixes of I'm Alone & Protonic (both are in my top 50 fav tracks ever) but haven't liked much else, apart from the slightly cheesy If I Could remix from last year.

Protonic, that's one good remix of his.
Is one of my all time favs aswell!

I'm Alone (Mirco de Govia vocal mix)

only tracks by him i've liked are

sonorous - protonic (ronski speed remix)
and
phoenixstar - the example 60 (ronski speed remix)

everything else has been just like Mr. Mystery said meh for me too.

Nah, the vocals are shite, the Ronski Speed mix is essentially a dub, and by far the best mix of the track

yea pretty much sums up my reply.

I really like The Space We Are but my favorite Ronski Speed work is Incognition.

The space we are is the best work he has ever done imo, i never heard one of his sets tho.

no way Mirco's remix is way better! Even the Stoneface & Terminal remix kicks the ronski speed remix

Was a big fan of his earlier remixes mentioned above but his more recent stuff (last few years) is shit.

Agreed. And as far as productions goes, I loved "EOS" and "Asarja" with Micro de Govia. And I agree that his best remixes were "Eye Of Horus" and "I'm Alone" (which was one of his own productions). I also liked his dub mix of "Burned With Desire". "Protonic" was okay, I prefer the original to his remix, kind of boring.

does he play out the original a lot?? because that s a track i wouldnt get tired of too soon. Also, his Sun Decade alias has a few awesome tracks, and one other track that no one has mentioned here that rocks my socks is Drowning Sunlight

One of my favourite tunes. I was out earlier this year, a local DJ was playing a very average set, and then suddenly I heard the 'Ahahah' , made my night. A few weeks later in the same club, Ferry Corsten dropped it as well.

Saw him in concert... nice proggy opening, closed with an hour of epic bangers. Worth seeing if you have the chance.

Anyways, his work with Stoneface & Terminal has caught my ear as of late. More specifically Solarscape - Alive (Ronski Speed With Stoneface & Terminal Dub Mix)

Incognition is a good track as well.

liked him in the yrs 03 04

His work is excellent on the whole.

Ronski Speed - Iris - OMFG Tune!!!

Goldenscan - Sunrise (Ronski Speed Mix) - Also fucking tune beats Tiestor's IMO.

Some of his stuff is pretty "meh" yes. But simply because he put out Iris I Love him.

Man what a fucking tune.

I though EOS was one of his better tracks to be honest.
Yeah he was the shit in 03/04 but i wouldnt call his latest stuff bad.

His september promo mix is one of the best mixes i have ever heard. Yeah theres some more popular stuff on there and people will say it was cheesy as hell but it was still a great mix

he has some awsome songs, like the remixes earlier mentioned

my favorite Ronski Speed songs are 2Day and Incognition

The Space We Are sucks though, I was so disappointed to hear that from him
