Off-topic question, do you have fat fingers?

Posted by Sasha on Apr-26-2007 20:43:

I've also heard that all renovations will be done by Steph himself with no other help

Posted by Cribby on Apr-26-2007 21:31:

More renovations? Nice! Hopefully in time for D2TB2

nope.. I just type really fast and never bother to re-read or proof read what I type. it's a message board, not an important work related document

I can't wait to see them. The layout of Footwork and the way it looks prevents me from going there more often.

SO SPOILED!

Footwork is a fucking sick place to rock out, I welcome any renovations that don't compromise the vibe in that place! But personally I love the easy access to bars, rocking sound, and that place is SO condusive to dancing.

I've honestly only ever had mediocre times at Footwork. To be fair, I haven't been there that often. I have given it a good chance though.

Regarding the look of the place, I can never get it out of my head that it used to be an old sports bar. It just looks so... old sports bar like. I feel like I should be talking to Ed on the bar stool about the Leafs game.

If you aren't doing this than you're missing out on the charm of footwork.

Last week I was there and Ed and I were going back and forth trading stories from our Gardens days.

One bomb of a story he dropped on me was that one day during his trouble making teenage years he faked a car accident on the corner of church and carlton to take the attention of the ushers away from the door so he and his friend mickey could sneak in to watch the Leafs calendar shoot. What he didn't realize was that the person who ended up getting in a real accident because of his fake accident was none other than Leroy Nelson.

He hasn't forgiven himself ever since.

hardwood floors, raised seating area ..... footwork is constantly changing, and getting better with each move.

The floor is now more foot friendly than ever.
