If you were to interview Hawtin,,,

What would you ask?

Posted by Mr.Mystery on May-09-2007 18:33:

I would ask if it bothers him that the interviewers can't come up with their own questions.

Posted by [mart] on May-09-2007 18:34:

Well, first off I would ask "who are you?".

I'm not gonna interview him, It's just a question

Posted by GoSpeedGo! on May-09-2007 18:52:

This is not going to answer the question, but just a few days ago I saw an interview with him on Youtube from last years Dance Valley (or Mysteryland, I don't remember now) and there was this drunk female interviewer who asked him something like: 'Is there any difference or similarity between your favourite record and your favourite girl?' Richie answered 'My favourite record always changes...' and then laughed.

I thought it was quite funny.

my first question would be, why the stupid hair cut, and then while he's answering i would interrup him and say " well, its gay...moving on.."and i would ask if he holds any grudges against bass

she is the worst interviewer i've ever heard .

i'd ask why he plays music because it's unreleased (he showed off in one interview saying 90% of the tracks are unreleased)

or something like "why do you release tracks so late?" minus47 was released about a year later m-nus guys stared to play it,...

Posted by Zayatz on May-09-2007 19:21:

why do you pay so much attention to his haircut?

Posted by bobba lou on May-09-2007 19:29:

ask him this.. when will the music discussion forum on TA close finally?

now that m_nus has 100% moved office to berlin (change of management), they will be shitting out releases as fast as sean tyas rework threads come up on this forum. The aforementioned, plus the fact that plus8 and m_nus tunes are leaking as fast as Armada releases, things wont sit in his lap for much longer.

The releases on minus over the past couple of years have had such a short shelf life it's unreal.

For starters your hearing them in sets anything up to a year before they release them, then theres the quality of the other tunes on the releases which are usually thrown together to make the ep by the sounds of it.

I think the only record I occasionaly play now is gaiser - Egress, the rest I've never really bothered much about after maybe using them in one or two mixes.

i forsee another dull few years and for everyone to profess the music is groundbreaking until minimal dies (see minimal is just a fad thread no.625).

If you were a hotdog and you were starving, would you eat yourself?

Why anybody cares what a DJ does to her/his hair is beyond me.

I hate to turn this into another one of these threads, but you do know that Minimal has had an incredibly strong "underground" following since the early 90s? It's by no means a fad, it's just jumped in popularity in recent years.

Posted by wotyzoid on May-09-2007 20:06:

yeh i know he grew it back but it still looks weirdo...ok moving on.
