Death in Ferry Corsten's Family: Cancelled Event.

I would like to take this moment to give our most sincere condolences to Ferry Corsten and his family who have recently lost a loved one. May you all find strength in each other in this trying time. We are sure all your fans are deeply sadden by this news.

Due to this, Ferry's Gig @ Mad Switzerland has been postponed for the time being.

Am I the only one finding this weird? You're giving him your condolences, yet you have no idea to who. It's something personal to him and should be kept that way.

I could. I've met Ferry and his wife... they're 2 of the warmest people I have the pleasure of knowing. On a personal level, I'm sorry for his loss.

And am I the only person who thinks that saying I couldn't give a fuck about someone's death, even if it's about someone you don't know, is just fucking crass?

How can you care about the death of someone you don't even know? I mean of course it's tragic when someone dies but acting like it actually affects your life in any way is just hypocritical.

I don't give a shit if it is, I am only being honest. Countless people die every day - it's not a pleasant thing, but I am not going to pretend I care, because put simply, I don't.

When it affects the life of someone you care about, that's a different story.

How does any of this have to do anything with me knowing or not knowing something about trance? And furthermore, how does any of what you just responded there have anything to do with what I said?

@ Mikey Mike, nobody's asking you to care, and nobody cares less whether you do or not. I'm not your mother, so forgive me if I sound like her by asking that you not be crass about someone's death. That's all.

@ Mr Mystery, I'm sorry I insinuated that you came across as an intelligent person, from your knowledge about trance. Forgive me for interrupting. Please do carry on.
