1983 (Prydz Mix)

best club track ever?

Posted by bas on May-24-2007 17:50:

2nd best club track ever. First best club track ever is 1983 (Prydz Mix) (Clovis' Everybody in 82 Edit).

I do think its one of the best club tracks of all time. Prydz = insanity.

Posted by seneca on May-24-2007 18:12:

hmmmmm....

his mastering is excellent which makes for great sounding tracks in the club. It's up there...

what other possible contenders are there?

Posted by UWM on May-24-2007 18:24:

tomaz & filterheadz - sunshine (scumfrog remix) is one of the bigger club tracks ive heard out

thomas schumacher - heat it up is another

holden - abitc

Posted by Rasidel Slika on May-24-2007 18:27:

filterheadz had some ridiculous tracks a few years ago..

Posted by Rasidel Slika on May-24-2007 18:31:

I cant say Schumacher - Heat It Up is a contender because its a remake of a classic house track... the original, could be a contender :P

(edit: this is arguable.)

Hmm, sounds like a good discussion for...you know what. There should be enough people not going to Detroit to make it happen

My vote is for the Superbowl Shuffle (Delobbo Remix) but '83 is classic as well.

1983 was similar to aftermath in that it could either destroy a club or destroy the mood, it has to be played at the right time.

Not really talking about it like, NOW, but rather when it was in its prime. If someone played it right now, I dunno, it doesn't have the pull (for me at least). But in its heyday - damn was it something. I will never forget Paolo Mojo dropping it at Spy last year. That moment was insane.

I'm not talking about it now either

*edit*

the end all be all of club tracks

2 Live Crew - Face Down Ass Up

Face down, ass up, that's the way I like to fuck
I like the butt, it's my favorite position
I'm tired of the front, so that's why I'm bitchin'
Flip-flop it, baby, bend your ass over
In a full house spread, let me hold ya
Marquis, a raw dick mother******
Virgin mouthpieces, the best dick-suckers
Dick-tricks, go round and round
Grip it with your pussy, go up and down
I got her callin' my name out when I'm freakin' out
I bust a nut, and then I'm breakin' out
So when you're naked, down on all fours
You better make sure that you get yours
'Cause a nigga like me will love ya and leave ya
I got mine, hoe! SEE YA!

Switch - A Bit Patchy (Eric Prydz Mix) is also a big floor filler. Prydz was on fire in 2006. 2007 doesn't look like he'll dissapoint either.

Yeah I was asked to leave right when he put it on, someone gave me a Makers and Coke and told me it was Captian and Coke I got back in right before the main synthline kicked in it, how gloriess

That was a funny night, Curley kept telling Paolo "play it! play it! play it!" and then I think he did early on just to get him to leave him alone, then you disappeared and I sent you a message and there were still 8 or 9 minutes left by the time you talked your way back in. Also the night where Levi passed out sitting up in a chair at HouSexy before 11 and was still there when we came back at 2.
