Tried it. Won't work for me, being an Australian None of the shows are licensed for over here.

Edit: And I'm not too sure about how to change my IP to something else, seeing as it's not browser based.

So I got one a while back. I was told it works on Macs, but wasn't told that it only runs on Intel Macs. My Powerbook not being of "Intel magic" rejected it, and trying to get it to run on Linux is a right bitch. So yeah, they really need to figure out how to reach a wider audience before they leave beta.

A wider audience like Australia! TBH though, none of the shows i saw on there were really that interesting. But still

Can't be any worse than what's on free to air at the moment... Sunday is the pits for TV in the afternoon.

the FOOTY!!!!!!!!

oh wait u guys watch shitty rugby

Posted by SuspicionVandit on Jun-10-2007 06:56:

when i watched there was a good number of Mixed Martial Arts fights. Some "Stupid Cops" show, where they seemed to rationalize the criminals actions. There was also an international Jackass show, where they give videos to people from all over the world to do jackass-esque stuff.

one thing i have used is called SopCast, which is a p2p video streamer. I seen the last 3 UFCs through this, as well as DeLaHoya/Mayweather and usually there is a guy streaming some payperview.

Posted by Lilith on Jun-10-2007 06:56:

There will be no 'footy' of any kind watched in this house...

Yeah, I imagine you're right. But i don't watch TV. If there is something i want to see specifically (a good series or something) I'm happy to buy it on DVD and watch it that way, with no fucking advertising

Posted by Lilith on Jun-10-2007 07:26:

Yeah I've thought about getting foxtel again, though it wasn't very much better then FTA anyway with the ads and repeat programs.

Yeah, but you still have to wait until it's actually showing, rather than watching it whenever you want. And at a worse quality.

lol there's some pretty damn good stuff for us here Got NHL Playoffs in full, but it's mostly music. XL Recordings have lots of live prodigy & basement jaxx stuff up, some of the rock bands like QOTSA, Keane, Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs etc are up and even music videos from cosmic gate -firewire on MOS tv This definitely has potential
