Labor Of Love 2007??

OK so it may be a little early still but any rumors or anything goin around for Labor of Love this year in Toronto? I really hope they bring back Sasha this year since last year was Digweed and Sasha hasnt been in town for like 3 years

It's cancelled.

There's no labour day this year in Canada. Everybody goes to work as usual.

Not sure if I'm going this year.

Had a horrible time last year, and have an exam a day or two after it this year.

I'm hoping that SvD comes...

His manager said he was coming to Toronto sometime this summer, and he failed to stop in Ontario (ottawa doesn't count as a city) during his tour right now, but he'll be back in the area at the end of August/Beg. September...

Either way I don't think I can go even if I wanted to. Will be across the Atlantic.

as I left Viva on monday morning i was wondering who would be at Labour of Love as well...I wish there were more venues in toronto that have multiple rooms/dj's...I love mixing up styles throughout the night. If you go to a place like Footwork and you aren't feeling what the DJ is spinning, then you're screwed. At the Guv I just move on to another room and pick up the vibe again. I can't remember, is there another multi-room event in the beginning of august? Its a civic holiday though, probably doesn't count...

MSTRKRFT will be in Montreal on 9/1....maybe Toronto on 9/2?

Umm... there are events like that. And enough of them actually. Speaking of FootWork, just this Sunday they had Hip-Hop, Breaks, and DNB in one night. All Destiny events have a shitload of different EDM genres.

okay, but in footwork there is only one room...when they had all these different genres hip-hop, breaks etc., the dj's took turns right? i like the freedom in being able to walk into another room and change it up, i don't want to have to wait an hour for the next dj to come on if i'm not enjoying the current one...kills any kind of momentum you had. and aren't the Destiny events only once a year?

I would love to see some different DJ s this year from previous LOL's I'm hoping Armin plays at 4am this year too, i remember walking in on his last track thinking wtf, and wasn't really that impressed with ferry's set later in the night. I'm hoping oakenfold, sharam and danny howells don't show. but chances are they will.

Also im flying in from vegas just to go to this, can't break a tradition. Im pumped, havent been to the guv since last year.
