I just lost my friend.... I'm in shock
I just lost a really close friend in a car accident. I was just with him the other day playing baseball. My ex was one of the 7 people in the car and thank god nothing happened to her. I just don't wanna believe this. He was 2 young to go away like this. I have always hated the driver cause he was the biggest coke head around here. I can't believe it.

The driver involved in a horrific crash that killed a 15-year-old boy in Fort Lee last night was charged this morning with vehicular homicide, authorities said.
Seven teenagers were packed into a speeding SUV on their way to what friends said was a surprise birthday party when it careened through a fence and a hedge, struck a telephone pole and flipped around 8 p.m.
The six passengers were all taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where Alex Conlon of Fort Lee succumbed to massive injuries, said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli. Conlon, a popular athlete who played tight end and defensive end as a freshman on the Fort Lee High School varsity football team, had been sitting in the front passenger seat, Molinelli said.
He wasnt wearing a seat belt, the prosecutor said.
Authorities found a half-empty bottle of alcohol inside the smashed 2005 Nissan Murano, Molinelli said.
The driver, Nicholas Vucci of Cliffside Park, remains in police custody after being taken to St. Josephs Regional Medical Center in Paterson last night, he said. Vucci, 18, had been drinking, Molinelli said.
Three other passengers were seriously injured, he said. Authorities havent identified them because they are juveniles. Molinelli said the families of all the occupants had been notified.
Friends of Conlon set up an online memorial message board on the facebook.com Web site within hours of the crash, trading photos of a smiling, fit young man and their sorrow at his sudden death. More than 230 people visited the site as of Wednesday afternoon.
"When most of my other friends had gone their separate ways, you always stuck right by my side," wrote AJ Palzer. "Through all of the conversations we had just riding around in my car, all the great times we had together, and all the drama, you stuck by me. . . I will absolutely NEVER forget you and I will always love you like a brother."
Vucci faces nearly a dozen charges, including first-degree vehicular homicide within a school zone, multiple counts of assault by auto within 1,000 feet of a school, reckless driving, and various alcohol-related counts, including drunk driving. The S.U.V. swerved wildly, crossing into front yards and mowing down a fence and hedge before striking the pole and flipping, witnesses said.
Detectives were at the scene reconstructing the accident this morning, as their investigation continues.
The stretch of Anderson Avenue where the crash occurred has a 25 mile-per-hour speed limit but is a notorious drag strip, residents said.
I'm sorry for the loss, but speeding down a 25 MPH road, chances are intoxicated, AND not wearing a seat belt? Didn't sound like the smartest kid. The death was avoidable.
SEATBELT!!!
Im sorry that you have to go through this. I cant imagine what its like.
This is why I never get in a car with an idiot, no matter how desperate the circumstances. Better to take 5 hours getting home than get killed or severely injured.
I thought the thread title says, "I just lost my friend... To a Shark"

there was a right knob around here, he used to steal cars & stuff and one day he hit a tree & died. He got what was coming to him. If your friend didn't have a seatbelt, then I'm afraid he also got something that he could have avoided, however I hate SUV's with a passion, mainly cos the drivers here are so aggressive & try to force u off the road.
