Paul Van Dyk- October '07
Hes currently the worlds #1 DJ and one of dance cultures most iconic figures. With a new album In Between on the horizon, in October Paul van Dyk will be back in Australia for a national tour.
Nothing if not revered across the globe, Paul van Dyk has been doing his thing since the early 90s in Berlin before releasing his debut album 45 RPM in 1994. But it was the release of his second album Seven Ways that shot him to stardom later in the decade, followed soon after by the timeless For an Angel, a track that defined a generation of clubbers as well as the sound that was sweeping the world at the time.
Hes stayed at the top of the heap since then, maintaining a reputation as a DJ who can smash the crowd at each and every club he plays. In 2005 he rose to the top spot in the DJ Mag poll for the very first time, holding onto the position in 2006.
Paul van Dyk will be playing Family in Brisbane on Thursday 11th October, stay tuned to ITM for more details as the come to hand

If rumor has it that PvD is on GK weekend do u think they will throw him in the GK lineup for a set?
Conflict of interest there dude - Hardware vs Future
It won't happen

Mike Nichol has a vid of him in a studio with the camera focussed only on him and the decks.
In one instance he beatmatches in about 8 secs, turns the deck off and has, no shit, a cup of fucken tea! He then walks back up to deck, turns it back on and within 15 secs of that, mixes the new tune in perfect sync and key. He drops it in the the most insane spot of the outgoing tune, keeps the energy up and completely changes the mood. Even when watching him, when the next tune has taken over you still don't get how it happened lol
!!! Most great Dj's can do similar things with sound but not with the ease and class of this guy. He's seriously incredible!
Everybody, do yourselves a favour and go see this guy play!
He's the maddest of mad!
